It is the holiday seasons, many parents are happy that their children are at home, or are they? Below are 5 things parents go through during this holiday period. 1. Sleepless nights. Most children sleeps late in the night, some sleep as late as 12am ans parents have to stay awake to ensure they go to bed 2. Shouting!! Nigerian parents should be given award in shouting, especially mothers. In most cases even a call for their child to get them a remote close to them must be echoed around the house with an equally ending exclamation ooo!!! 3. Arranging the House. We all know that with all those shouting children will still be children. so parents have to endure the never ending quarrels with siblings, the fights with pets and the drumming and mini reality TV going on all at once in the house. 4. Worry/Anxiety!!: Working parents will always panic and call home several times to check if something has been broken and will be happy when told 'John is sleeping'. LOL 5. Joy!! Irrespective of their headache, crying and fights we still love our children and it is always a thing of joy when your child breaks something ( as long as the child is not hurt).
