Google ,the global search engine,in an event held at Landmark event centre,Lekki Lagos honored MarkAngel and Emanuella for having the highest YouTube subscribe base in Nigeria. In an event that saw the presence of who is who in global ICT industry like the CEO of Google Pichai Sundararajan, also known as Sundar Pichai, Media personality , Adesuwa Onyenekwe and a host of others.

Hitting over a million subscribers within a short time, the search engine giant has demonstrated their support for local talents .

Google used the event to unveil other products such as YouTubego, a lighter version of YouTube that allows subscribers to save and minimize data usage. StreetView,a new app that takes Google maps to a better 3D view by showing the real life streets and how they are.

Mark Angel is a popular Nigerian comedian he came to spotlight in 2015 after uploading several skit videos on YouTube in form of episodes featuring him and his fictional on screen sister Emmanuella. At the moment the Mark Angel Comedy channel on YouTube is the most subscribed channel on YouTube Nigeria.
