The world is waiting with bated breath for the product of the ‘marriage’ between BMW and Toyota. Yes, the German company has a working partnership with the Japanese company to develop a new sportscar platform.

While Toyota had been dropping some teases of what the new ‘baby’ will look like, BMW has been more ‘zip-lipped’, nothing released from them until now.


Word in the industry is that this might be revealed very soon. Specifically, during the forthcoming Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 17.

But for now, no one knows if it will end up German or Japanese branded. Will it follow up in the Supra form or the Z4 form? We keep our fingers crossed.
