Nigerian Government Yet To Defeat Boko Haram – Fayose by Ehiscotch(m): 11:15pm On Jul 30, 2017 |
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has countered the claims by the Federal Government of Nigeria that it has defeated Boko Haram. The governor in a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, argued that Boko Haram was yet to be defeated and had not even been degraded. According to him, the brutal killings by Boko Haram all over the place contradicted the lie by the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government that it had won the battle against the insurgency. “The battle is not over yet. In fact, it is raging fiercer than ever before. The gory killing of the oil workers confirms this. The wanton destruction of lives and property all over the place by Boko Haram also testifies to this fact. Like the ostrich, this government is trying hard to cover what cannot be covered. Boko Haram ambushes and kills soldiers at will. “Gallant officers and men continue to fall in battle to the superior firepower and higher morale of the insurgents. “Boko Haram invades and sacks communities at will, carting away human beings and other resources. “The insurgents throw bombs with reckless abandon. Is this the evidence of a degraded or defeated Boko Haram?” He queried. Fayose said corruption in the military under this administration had degraded the military such that gallant soldiers were no longer able to stand before Boko Haram, not to talk of defeating the insurgents. http://dailypost.ng/2017/07/30/nigerian-government-yet-defeat-boko-haram-fayose/

Truth is truly (not technically) defeat terrorism is nearly impossible. The real terrorist in this case of the Boko Haram sect is not Shekau or his sponsors or their commanders. The true terrorists are those who radicalize these gullible Minions into forming a militia and fighting for a "god" who believes in killing both yourselves and others who don't accept or believe in your religion. Killing their soldiers won't end them. The USA, the UK, Belgium with all their technology and enhanced security are still suffering from attacks from these evil men. If you just kill them (the foot soldiers) off and say " yes I have defeated them", you only ended up cutting the branch and not the main tree itself. How to stop the radicalism should also be at the fore front. If you do not end this you end up suffering setbacks and it would be a case of one step forward two steps backward. This is a Call to the world. 1 Like |

What is this one saying, terrorism is almost impossible to defeat it is better manage which N.A has failed to do effectively, even america, with all technology is yet to defeat terrorism in Afganistan, so fayose better shut the fvck, and keep off millitary matters. |

chinoxstock:You aren't far from the truth. They created Bokoharam to unsettle and wrestle power from Jonal, after achieving the aim the Bokoharam has refused to leave. |
