Manchester United have announced the signing of Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic from Chelsea for a fee believed to be £40million. Matic made 40 appearances in all competitions last season but he will see his role dimish this coming season after the arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco. The Red Devils also announced that the midfielder will wear the number 31 shirt.
