No but his major problem was greed for accepting three ministry under his watch thinking its Lagos state or south west not knowing it national.

Plus his hype performance back then as a governor.

Worst because you have ever had an installed capacity of 6000MW of power before in Nigeria?

Or worst because he was the minister when power supply in Nigeria transitioned from steady power from post independence to epileptic power post civil war?

Or worst because he is the 1st power minister who inherited the epileptic power situation and did not manage to restore constant power under a ministerial tenure that will only be 2yrs by September 2017 ?

Or worst because he hid his magic wand that would have restored power overnight, and decided to plan and budget and implement like human muggles are constrained to do without the power of witch-craft?

Instead of sleeping at night, some people just keep awake, putting too much pressure on their already sleeping brain.

Even if he makes any progress his careless utterances before election will work against him. If he can't provide us with prepaid meter then he is the worse.

You have described a typical Nigerian problem that has long persisted. So you need to tell us what actions or inactions of Fashola has qualified him for the title of worst power minister?

Now if installed capacity is at its highest, but the necessary fuels/raw material is lacking due to reasons that range from low water levels that affect hydro power generators, or interrupted supplies from the petroleum industry due to acts of vandalism and sabotage that is even celebrated by a section of the tribal and political spectrum, is that culmination of your power situation the fault of the minister of power?

Simply put, Fashola inherited a power problem and has had just 1 single budget yet (2016 budget) to fix a decades long problem. His 2nd budget has only been recently passed with much debate with the parliament over what might have been removed or not removed from the planned capital projects.

Do you expect that a single year's budget (2016) for his own power agenda since he resumed office in September 2015, is enough to make a marked difference in the moribund power sector even when such budget was strewn together while experiencing a recession?

But I thought people were saying he is the best..even though he was alleged to have been involved in multibillion naira scams as governor. All those APC/PDP guys are thugs, and yet take positions, including Ngige who rigged elections, but see him today, talkless of the coupist called Buhari who displaced millions of Africans once before and cannot talk when Xenophobia happen to the Nigger Areans in South Africa.

"Any government that cannot provide power for it's citizens n six months is irresponsible", " constant power supply is not rocket science ", I think we should judge Fashola according to his own words, and by that he is the worst power minister.

You term him worst simply because you are Ignorant......................

Fashola is the first Minister of Power that is. Saddled with just the duty of Transmission and regulation of the activities of the already PRIVATIZED generation and distribution arms of electricity supply to the consumers

FG have no direct responsibility of providing you with power since it is now partially a private owned Business just like in Communication Ministry,......I hardly see one blame Minister of communication for lack of MTN masts in his area

The unfortunate thing is that the investors that were dashed the distribution company's for instance lack the technical cum financial capabilities to deliver

The undisclosed secret is that power generation in Nigeria has risen to above 6000mw. Kudos to the private own GENCOS but most of the DISCOS don't have the healthy network facilities that can successfully distribute this quantum of power without break down

There is urgent need for the investors NOT FASHOLA to wake up from slumber, pump money into the system and update their dilapidated network facilities.

Hope your. Ignorance is cleared a bit?

As always, the Igbo man will always reveal his bile. Still bitter about the 2015 election damage to the backbone.

It always just has to be about the miserable clansmen?

Why not conclude in typical persecution complex, that there is deliberately no power in Nigeria just so as to punish the Igbo?

Please why are you guys like this , first and foremost power generation as of today is below 3000 MWS so I wonder where you got your 6000MWs from , secondly you say that private sector is now responsible for power just like MTN is in communications then why is Fashola interest always in making sure the tariffs get increased so much he has been acting like thier spokesman on this issue ...And if Generation is 6000Mws like you clearly lied above why do I have just two hours of electricity as against 16 to 18 hours even under the poor leadership of Jonathan's govt ..I tell you I have never had electricity supply this bad

His proxy company is called Plycon. They got most of the uncompleted road construction contracts in lagos. I was very close to the MD. Someone should tell efcc to beam their light on plycon office in Lekki phase 1. Those young boys in charge of the company are dripping in crazy money and very exotic cars. The company is owned by Fashola's close buddy.......whistleblowers over to you. This is confirmed soup!

Ohh so it's not Fasholas duty to ensure we have pre paid
meters but it's his responsibility to ensure that tariffs are increased twice in less than14 months so much that he even acts like the champion spokesman for the DISCOS when it comes to tariff increase...Truth be told Fashola is a corrupt racketeering inept opportunist non performers who has gone down in history as a man who couldn't complete a mere 35kms lekki Epe road despite charging one billion per kilometer and collecting tolls on an uncompleted road for years .

Installed capacity under Jonathan actually stood at over 9000KWS but active capacity was slightly below 5000MWs so please sir can you tell us where and how Fashola has added his invisible MWs when even last week Nigeria was at 2700 MWS and I know it has even dipped this week .

That Duara goat merged three of the most critical ministries that need urgent and priority attention and he did this by adopting the Steve Orunsaya report that was largely ignored by previous administration for being non-practical.

How can you merge three of the most critical sectors that require urgent attention into one large bureaucracy and place a known propaganda crook to head it and expect any meaningful development?

Google the meaning of installed capacity.

I'm sure I already factored in those who are slow at learning, by deliberately using such an explicit term.

Even if all power generation stations shut down due to reasons like I had already given in a previous response, installed capacity will remain constant.

By installed capacity I meant under the clumsy Jonathan Nigeria had already enough power plants that could generate over 9000 MWs but many of the where incapacitated by lack fuel (gas) supply so bad that some didn't have Gas trains or pipelines heading their way ..

Conceived?

So a new power station can be conceived and still executed under 1year's budget?

Why do humans so easily betray their hypocrisy and prejudices?

So should Fashola have abandoned projects of the last administration to settle a political score?

Are you therefore saying that if you are suffering epileptic power supply and wailing aimlessly about it as It has become obvious to many, then it is the fault of Jonathan's regime who did not conceive to give you steady power as at mid 2017?

So what exactly is this unnecessary debate about?
