After all the drama and hurrays, there is very little the man can do without stepping on legal land mines.

The new AGF (Atonije of the federation) Adetokunbo Kayode also had a corruption case that was swept under the carpet few year ago. He was once dropped as a ministerial nominee on account of that corruption case during Obasanjos regime.

This is a long awaited move frm dis governement. Adetokunbo should av been there right from day one. Thats one of the problms we have in these country, we must learn to put technocrats where dey belong. Dnt know what a SAN like Adetokunbo will be doing in Tourism sector, Dora a season Prof. of Pharmacy in info ministry, wat d hell?

thank God, the most important thing is that Andookaa is out as the AGf.
He wont be able to talk where he is. he will only perform any function given to him.

For those who said the legality is in question, well we dont have any thing to say rather than for them to provide a better way out of this situation.

Replacing the former with the latter is a swift move by Goodluck Jonathan to give his 'government' some sort of credibility. Though the new guy's pedigree is relatively unknown, Aondoankaa was a malady we needed to get rid off quickly as a nation to move forward

Oh well, we can be complacently thankful yo Joe, or we can yap about this seemingly sub-standard choice of his. In every case the glaring truth shows our inability to actually effect any change in our lives as concerns our govt. We just wait for them to make the decisions for us no matter the case. You might have a point but if you are insinuating Dora for Health, you may be wrong there. Health currently has one of the very best resource on the face of the planet (Prof Osotimehin), who is in the league of Prof Olikoye Ransome Kuti when it comes to who's who in world health. And to his credit he made it clear he will not be involved in the politics of PDP and will simply do his job without noise-making or propaganda like many other ministers that specialises in promising what they cant deliver ( 6000 megawatts megafailure)

Dora was probably in secondary school when Osotimehin was celebrated by the UN as one of 2the best of Arica

I am really surprised to know that Jonathan is this decisive. He may yet have more surprises up his sleeve.

Please i dont understand something oo is there Ministry of Special Duties? i know of Ministry of Justice, ministry of transport,ministry of finance ministry of foreign affair but i have never heard of ministry of special Duties pls if there is any i will like to go and see with my 2 naked eyes.

There is an office for the Minister of Special Duties but no ministry. The office is of a glorified butler of the government, the only thing I can think of as main roles of that office is organising Abuja Carnival which even belongs to ministry of Culture by something like 60%

Babatunde Osotimehin

Professor Babatunde Osotimehin is the Director General of Nigeria's National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) which is the coordinating body for all HIV/AIDS activities in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman Governing Board of the Abidjan - Lagos Corridor Project, a multi country transport corridor HIV/AIDS project funded by the World Bank and the Global Fund.Under his leadership the HIV/AIDS prevalence in Nigeria has steadily declined from 5.8% to 4.4%
A Professor of Clinical Pathology, he was prior to his present appointment the Project Manager of Nigeria's World Bank Assisted HIV/AIDS Programme Development Project, Provost College of Medicine of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria's premier university, Editor of the African Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences and also, the Coordinator of The Social Sciences and Reproductive Health Research Network, Ibadan. He was also a Distinguished Visitor to the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and a Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies, Cambridge, Mass. USA

Born and raised in Nigeria, he completed his medical studies at the Universities of Ibadan, Nigeria and Birmingham, UK and specialized in Clinical Pathology.

It is no more a gainsaying that u can only fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time. it is impossible to fool all the people all the time. the removal of the previous attorney general shows that everybody is aware that he is a smart devil. when a country make a corrupt person the officer in charge of justice, then the worst we had experienced in the last few years is inevitable, I think the Acting president systematically relegate him down, though would not want to step on toes immediately, rather, the man ought to have been removed from the political history of this nation.

from another angle, the replacement of Kayode Tokunbo, a man of questionablr character shows the extent at which the power that be is not ready to give out power to anybody out of their caucus. why can't he removed the man, and pick up a competent person with integrity? who knows what we should expect again this time around, but I bet it, this man is not better off
