mine is the 2005 Subaru Legacy , HatchBack .. Fucking new... as in like brand new.. 2.5 Engine size, 4 plugs .....Ac , I will upload pix

I will be servicing it soon with MOBIL1 5w-30 engine oil.. Thats just 13k while the filter cost 7k.. The AC is wicked.. I got catarrh just on the first day.. always on 1...

Have you checked the underbody, quarter panels & other hidden places if they need rust protection?
Did it come from a snowy state?

There's something off putting about Subarus to me. They have this staid, nonchalant look like they were designed for either old, retiring people or people with old school mindset. The Baja pickup though is slowly gaining ground in my parts, and that's the only interesting Subaru I've seen.

I just read that the fender (the wheel well & under the plastic cover) & some of the suspension components are prone to rust.

I love subaru for one thing. It's symmetrical awd system. No car can beat that.

please share knowledge on any mechanics who are good with Subaru, also where to find parts... I suspect these might be issues since Subaru is not common here

Nobody said anything about the parts and maintenance of Subaru cars... every tokumbo car is always good and far better than Nigerian used cars. So, let’s move to the deep side of the Car

If you need any parts... the one you will be buying more often is the shocks absorbers ... Brake PADS..... Spark plugs na the same with every other car... but if you need any subaru part.. holla me here...

The Op's exact model of Subaru has a particular achilles heel. I remember making my research on it some years back. I'll check and revert. personally, I love and dream about the 2004 Impreza WRX/STi. One day my hand go touch am.
