COURSE OBJECTIVE:
To provide delegates with a basic level of understanding and awareness of safety and emergency response on offshore installations.
Delegates will be required to demonstrate their skills and a level of knowledge and understanding of key areas, as defined in the OPITO Standard for Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training.

BOSIET stands for: BASIC OFFSHORE SAFETY IMMERGENCY ESCAPE TRAINING.
BOSIET is a statutory requirement to process OSP (Offshore Safety Permit) as required by DPR ( Department of Petroleum resources).

OPITO is an international standard regulatory body with the mandate to ensure that BOSIET certificates and certificate holders are trained and certified within statutory standards hence all certificates are checked against either DPR or OPITO approval.
