Nigerian police is a bunch of disorganised and untrained personals. They tell you not to use one way but the commit the same offence.

We need to know the circumstances of this bashing! If its in the course of genuine operations such as violent highway chase/confrontations of a notorious criminals...such might be expected, otherwise this is unacceptable.

Moreso, our police seem to use fragile cars...instead of purpose built and strengthened vehicles as its obtained in most advanced countries.

Ignoramus. Why not find out the circumstance first before mocking yourself instead. You think crime fighting is a pass to a tea party or an amusement park. They were purchased for crime fighting and the last time I checked it is a violent business. What you should rather ask is what training the operators undergo in order to protect themselves and the public and whether there are mechanisms in place to return such operational vehicles to patrols within the shortest possible time, i.e. is such a motorpool sustainable. Next time a soldier, airman or sailor returns from battle ask him why his body and his equipment bears the scars of conflict.
