It seems undisputable that Gov Fashola has done a better job than most previous Lagos State governors. Be that as it may, I have no doubt that some shady deals have gone down - unless an angel has invaded the bodies of all the leaders in Lagos.

Still, Lagosians would be jumping from frying pan to fire if they allow Gov. Fashola to be harassed out of power. Knowing the nature of politics in Nigeria the current noisemaking is probably political, and most of those waiting in the wings would be bigger thiefs. 

If these complaints have any legitimacy and coming from clean hands, then the first task is for the LSHA to come up with legislation to plug leakages in how government funds are handled, rather than play into the hands of political mischief makers.

What Fashola has being doing for Lagos have lasting value if he his allowed to complete them.
