Our problems in this country is that we keep believing who ever is doing what is right, by voluntary his time to draw attention over what is killing the nation we believe he/she has been paid for that. is just too bad, I can remember how the uprising started why I was still in Libya it was like a joke, first it all started in Egypt, from their to Tunisia, finally he got to Libya. we must all agree to turn things around...

Not sure where you got your conclusion from but:

MLK and associated protest movements led directly to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that "outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin."

The protests within and outside South Africa (of which Nelson Mandela was a focusing point) led to the end of Apartheid

Ken Saro-Wiwa's death added more fuel to the fire that eventually saw the mysterious end of Abacha. It also gave voice to the many communities who had been ruined by oil, and encouraged a militancy that aims for better treatment from a government and industry that could not have cared less about the damage they were causing.

Protest without legal works is practically useless.
and believe me, this guys need to get off the street and get to the courtroom..

Imagine Femi falana (SAN) or Late Fawehinmi leading this protest, been sprayed with water cannons, tear gassed and beaten. what would be the next form of action? COURTROOM!!..

and what makes you think MLK or MANDIBA achieve those stand by protest??

No doubt, There are great men who had some real stuff to offer but this Area fada and the rest are on their own and should follow due protocol; moreover, the course "Our Mumu Don Do, buhari should come back or resign" is a course asking for protocol to be followed. But I wonder why they aren't going by the protocol themselves?

Only reptilian products will want buhari to resign because of painment and hatred they have for him

If you ask the why they want him to resign? They ha e absolute no point

Dem think say E easy make over 200million vote for someone and some retards- somewhere will believe buhari should resign because they hate him.

They forgot that leadership is not driven by emotions...

Based on constitution buhari has done what he should do..
going by ur logic buhari is a reptile cuz he asked yaradua to resign
at least yaradua had d decency to come back to nigeria

Mr. Man, Soyinka, Falana and Bakare don't just do thing without using their senses. When Yar'adua refused to obey the constitution by handing over to Jonathan as explicitly stated in the constitution, these people used their senses and went on protests to ask the National Assembly to invoke the spirit of the constitution, 'Doctrine of Necessity'. The same people would not stoop so low as you guys would want them to do. Buhari has handicapped everyone by handing over to his deputy as required by law. It's only insane, bitter minds that would ask him to resign. He also fulfilled conditions for sick leave by transmitting same to National Assembly as required by law. Taking to cognizance the same law never stipulate time limit for a sick public officer to resume. This is where people's confusion comes in.
Another thing that also confused people is the post of VP. A VP post is a ceremonial post and has no duty constitutionally, except given to him or delegated by the president. Meaning if the VP is reposed with the power of the President, he can as well delegate authority to whoever he wishes.
Well, morally speaking people deserve to know the state of Mr. President per time but not by force because constitution does not ask for it.

We are both saying the same thing but the wording differs. The people who gave Buhari the mandate see this protest as foolishness. They prefer the status quo. Take a moment to think about it, what else would a Yoruba or an Hausa man want? Their own are the ceremonial abi photo President and the Acting President. Which of them is not totally satisfied with the positions? None.

Any Igbo man sticking his neck for an already concluded
agreement is wasting his time. Someone would say it's
better they protest than do nothing at all, considering the shameful prolonged absence of Buhari. The answer to that is that, sometimes silence is golden.

You were totally right when you posited that those known Yoruba political advocates wouldn't stoop low to support this igbo lead protest. Two can't be crazy at the same time. How would they? Do you know the sacrifice the Odua nation made by joining with Hausa /fulani in this dispensation? They have endured all manners of ridicule from the rest of the South, they have been called all sorts of names. But the end justified the means.

Igbos need to start thinking. Clearly, they do not want your protest or support. If it is misconstrued as being mischievous, blame nobody, an uninvited guest is always served with dry roasted yam.

Thanks for reminding us about the constitution. It goes to show how naive an Igbo person is. Reflect on this, why did Buhari despite all odds and against Medical advice returned briefly after the first visit. He knew he must follow the right process as required constitutionally. There was an unfinished business, akin to the one they said that caused Ozoubulu incident. Either parties must fulfill their part. Tinubu can't be used and dumped. Neither would Hausa fulani be cowed. Their common ground is where they are presently at. Everybody is happy. Igbos cannot come and put sand in people's garri.

What Charly Boy and Jim Iyke are doing today is like a good deed you do for a bad leg person, the thank you get is him raising and sticking out his butts for you as he makes effort to walk and leave.

When will sense fall on Igbo people? What is the relevance of this protest if I may ask? Why are you taking Panadol for another man's headache? The principle actors that ushered in this great misfortune on Nigerians are no where to be found now. Those that positioned to benefit by bringing in a sick man to rule Nigeria Where are they?

Igbos, have you forgotten so soon? What business do Igbos like Jim Iyke and Charly Boy got with whether Buhari resumes or resigns? Even if the protest succeeds, the beneficiaries would still be Hausa and Youruba. Particularly, Tinubu, Osibanjo, and El rufia. Igbos should allow them bury their dead.

Have you asked yourself where people like Tunde Bakare, Falana, Wole Soyinka and ObJ who are well known political advocates are? They have all become mute, and that is not enough to make you put on you thinking cap.

Sometimes, you just have to pick your fight wisely. At the moment, with the present political setting an Igbo man does not need to sweat it for anybody.

You protest against an Hausa fulani in Abuja, you people are slaughtered by Arewa Youths in Kaduna while the Yorubas are partying in Lagos and you think you have sense?

They all know where they had a bath, they should go there and look for their pants

this situation is not about tribe and ethnicity but about national pride.

does it really matter if you are ibgo housa youroba or even a minority ethnic group.

what matters is that we are Nigerians and the myopic policies of this administration hits everyone not minding your tribe or affiliation.

our silence and silent wailings is only an affirmation that we are even dumber than they think we are.

If it's about national pride, why is the Senate no saying any thing? What happened to the representatives we sent to the House, can't they discuss this prolonged and shameful absence of Buhari? We have the judiciary whose main job is to interpret and explain the law, what have they done?

Is Charly Boy and Jim Iyke more Nigerian than the masses? Where are the masses? Who takes an Igbo man serious in matters acceptable by Yorubas and Hausa fulani. Agreed, he excersizing his right of freedom of expression but to what end.
