BUK Expells 52, Rusticates 9 Students for Exam Malpractice

The Senate at its 354th meeting held on Wednesday, 5 July, 2017 , upon consideration of a submission from the Senate Business Committee (SBC) has approved the punishment of expulsion, rustication and warning for some students found involved in examination misconduct in accordance with Section 19.17(Ai – xiii) of the General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) .

This was contained in a statement signed by Amina Umar Abbullahi, the Deputy Registrar in charge of the Directorate of Examination, Admission and Record (DEAR).
