Jose Mourinho confirmed on Friday that Manchester United are in talks with Zlatan in terms of signing for another year.

Ibrahimovic will not return to first team football until at least January 2018 which would certainly hinder his season.

Though, it is clear that Mourinho still sees the player in his plans enough to open talks with the player over continuing his time at Old Trafford.

Zlatan impressed during his first season in the Premier League but it came to a sombre end after the players injury ruled him out of the Europa League final.

The player would have played in his native Sweden but had to watch from the sidelines as the Red Devils won the trophy.
