How do you control weed effectively in cucumber farm, do you stake and can I see sample of your stake cucumber farm

In our office as an agric firm, we have cucumber seed using the Thailand breed cu999 it size can reach 30cm to 40cm.

For weed control, itz adviceable to use mulching film, and also ensure u weed at evri two weeks bcus we are in a rainy season. Bt mulching film is suitable bcus it makes it easier to weed.

As a farmer, i wil advice u use bamboo staking.

Wait for 3 days to 1 week depending on the herbic ide. If it is preergence then u thread with care oo. as for pesticide, which one are u talking about?

I don't think there was is a best. u just have to use a combination of systemic and non systemic pesticides and rotate pesticides with different mode of action to prevent resistance from developing.

Whether to use fertilizer or not depends on ur soil fertility. if u are farming large scale go for soil test. Limit the amount of urea u apply BC it has negative effects. Don't use it during flowering. u may use a little during growth but majority of nitrogen shud be in nitrate form. fertilizer that's high in K followed by P are good esp from flowering up.
