I want to buy my first car and I am considering Honda E.O.D but people keep saying there is always ball joint issue with Honda cars.any advice will be appreciated.

I heard that the bull joint issue has be resolved but only from evil spirit upwards but with good maintainance culture u wont have a problem with eod...eod is more classy and the interior outsmart the boring clumsy look big daddy....

But i think ppl go to toyota due to their engines less problematic and second hand value...

If you enjoy driving then buy a Honda.

If you just want to get from point A to point B then get a Toyota. The Camry you can buy and gift your Grandad (it'll fit older people better) in the village and keep the smart looking Hondas, any Honda, as the fashionable sleds of an upwardly mobile aristocrat

Nuff said.

PS: All cars require preventative maintenance. Balls joints, timing belts, oil filters (it's a shame that I actually have to mention this), brake pads, brake discs/drums, shock absorbers, radiator fluid, break/clutch fluid, final drive fluid, gear fluid, etc these things are things that should be inspected/replaced on a timed mileage/month based basis.

But in Nigeria, until the wheels falls off then we don't consider the cars as nonfunctioning.

Toyota is economical, maintenance is cheaper and it has 2nd hand value. My view though.
