1. Get a piece of magnet from a bad electronics speakers. Check the ringer or ear piece of a bad phone or ask any repair guy to give you a piece of magnet.
2. Place the piece of magnet close to the part to connect to your apple device. An ORIGINAL CABLE WILL BE ATTRACTED TO MAGNET while a fake one will not.
