Many Nigerians may easily be fooled by the cat and mouse game between President Olusegun Obasanjo and the National Assembly. The former president continues to be a thorn in the flesh of the legislature with unrelenting attacks on the institution as a bastion of corruption. This week alone, Obasanjo has used two different platforms to hit the National Assembly as a cesspool of corruption. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/08/obasanjo-cant-forgive-national-assembly/ 10 Likes 3 Shares

Is Obasanjo still in govt ? No. Meanwhile can someone educate me on what the National Assembly of 468 members need #125B for in their 2017 budget.Let's compare their budget to Ekiti State. NASS budget - #125B Members - 468. Ekiti budget - #93B Population - 2.3million. What does Ekiti spend the #93B on ? Does it pay Fayoses salary and his aides - Yes Does it pay commissioners salary and aides - Yes Does it pay state lawmakers salary - yes Does it pay Judiciary workers - Yes Does it pay for road construction - Yes Does it pay teachers salaries - Yes Does it pay salary of Profs in state univ. - Yes Does it pay health workers salary - Yes What does NASS spend #125 B on ? Does it pay their salaries and aides' - Yes Do they construct roads with it - No Do they pay teachers salaries - No Do they pay health workers salaries - No Do they pay judges salaries - No Do they pay salary of Profs in Fed univ. - No Question : what exactly does NASS spend #125B on outside their salaries and allowances ? 116 Likes 19 Shares |

Max24:Why not lead a protest to the NASS instead of bellyaching on NL. Have you also wondered how a man who was koboless when he came out of prison suddenly became one of the richest African former head of state? This is not in anyway endorsing the corruption you identified in the Nass, but your only grouse with the Nass is because they refused to be a rubber stamp of the Executive. The corruption you identified in Nass is thriving so very much in the Executive, but I trust you not to talk about it. 34 Likes 4 Shares |

CharlotteFlair:WE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO ABOUT ABOLISHING THE USE OF POLITICAL POST AS A MEANS/TOOL OF PERSONAL ENRICHMENT IN NIGERIA. POLITICAL POST SERVING AS A MEANS OF 'RIDDING OFF POVERTY' MENTALITY OUGHT TO BE STOPPED IN NIGERIA OR ELSE WE WILL CONTINUE LANGUISHING IN ABJECT POVERTY COS I REMEMBER IN 1999 WHEN OBJ EMERGED AS THE PRESIDENT AFTER THE 1999 ELECTION, HIS COMPOUND IN ITA-EKO WAS LITTERED WITH DIFFERENT FANCIFUL CARS (AS RUMOURED); THEY WERE CLAIMED TO BE CONGRATULATORY GIFTS BY SOME FOREIGN COMPANIES MOSTLY CHINESE AND LEBANESE COMPANIES. I AM NOT SURE MAY BE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO REJECT THEM JUST LIKE BUBU ALLEGEDLY REJECTED SOME TRAILERS OF COWS DURING ILEYA (Id'l kabir) PERIOD OR ACCEPTED THEM JUST LIKE DAME WOULD ACCEPT $13M GIFT BY 'FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF THE GOVT'. WHICHEVER WAY, I BELIEVE WHATEVER WAY OR FORM CORRUPTION MIGHT TAKE, IT DEFINITELY WILL HAVE NEGATIVE EFFECT IN OUR ECONOMY, THE BASIC TRUTH. 2 Likes |

Obasanjo should be cooling off in jail in a sane country, but he goes about masturbating all around the place insulting the national assembly. Who is the father of corruption in Nigeria? Who is the father of Impunity and God fatherism politics in Nigeria? Who spent billions of dollars on electricity and yet gave us darkness? Who is the father of do or die politics? Who is the person who bribed national assembly member to change the constitution so he can go for a third term? Obasanjo is a mad goat.. I have an active Facebook group with 82,000 members for sale at a give away price..
