then u need java SE (standard edition), I play with java but not a core java programmer, i do c# (MVC) and php (laravel) bit if u wanna learn online and u are patient i suggest u follow this link http://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/java/java.html it will teach u java step by step, na from here i take start learn c# and today i code for companies so start small think big.If u need more drop yr comments.
