I ask this, because on many occasions, people have come over to my house and for various sundry things, and upon seeing my son with just his diaper and tee shirt or something else in which doesn't give him away as being a boy, they'll say how cute he is and then ask if he's a boy or a girl. I'm now starting to get annoyed with this question, I think he clearly looks like a boy, but a lot folks seem to get confused because he has soft features, though most of all its his big hair in which throws most folks off. What do you think?

A lot of babies don't look like boys or girls, if you swapped their clothes then no-one would know. A 9 month old baby just has 'baby' features. So don't worry about it. It's just people being funny about his hair, but I love it!

He could pass for either but thats normal for kids, hence why their clothes are usually color coded so that people know.

I am not quite sure, if the boy is white/black or black/black . . . however . . . most of the nigerian folks which i know would say the boy looks "bushy" this means the hair is to long for a boy therefore the mum should cut it off or she should plait it propply . . . and most of the british and nigerians, which i know dress there boy s like boy mostly jeans, shirts, trainers ect in blue, brown, gray and green . . . girl mostly wear lighter and softer colours like baby blue, yellow, pink ect . . . boy wear outfits with Ben 10 and girls waer outfits with barby

Well, thank you all for your responses. My son is now 15 months old, and we've decided to cut his hair back when he turned 13 months. His face has really matured solidly in to that of a boy, and his haircut pronounces it even more.
