Pharmaceutical Sales Manager

Requirements
First Degree (Having a higher qualification will be an added advantage)
5-7 Years Experience in relevant position
Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Good knowledge of Lagos and its environ
Target Oriented


Job Details:

Ensure the servicing of existing accounts, obtainimg orders, and establishing new accounts bymaking sure that Pharmaceutical Sales Reps plan and organize their daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Ensure that development and training plans are in place for all Pharmaceutical Sales Reps to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of administrative requirements.
Ensure that Pharmaceutical Sales Reps have Performance Achievement Plans with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process
Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
