Thats my point too but the people that do the rankings probably do it by what is in your account or so which makes jay-z the richest and diddy third. If diddy starts selling his companies, which I too hope he doesn't, he would blow all of 'em out of the water. Even just his Sean John cologne has been generating million per month for both Sean John and Estee Lauder (which has been one of their best-selling fragrances ever). So Sean John as a whole is definitely worth a lot
