¤yawn*. .does dz real matter?

normally i do not care for what you say but i must agree. PPl should give the man a break. He's not the first and definitely wont be the last. He is a public figure yes however for every 3 men judging him 2 are in the sam if not worse predicament so ppl should just low him and the issue. He's human and most importantly he is a man with an addiction. Pray for him and keep it moving.

Re: Tiger Woods Finally Speaks: 'I Am Deeply Sorry' by Outstrip(f): 4:54am On Feb 26, 2010
He screwed up. I believe he is sorry. If his wife can forgive him and he is committed to saving the marriage then they can still make it work. Then I think of the fact that he was sleeping with an ex porn star and at least one of the women said he used no protection. Tiger. Tiger. Tiger. No amount of money can cure AIDS o. What was he really thinking. Most of those women are not even as good looking as his wife and they were not exactly morally upright people so what was the appeal.

The guy should bone all this Sisy apologetics.
He should just go ahead and play the best golf of his life. That's what made him popular in the first place.

He didn't get to be world number one because he was faithful to his wife.

Play some golf jare.

Abeg yes I wanted an apology. Nonsense! for making me naively believe that there were still young, upstanding people in this world. For being a hypocrite and down right fake role model.

His wife deserves the biggest apology for insulting her so badly.

That his public apology was just him feeling sorry for himself that he got so badly caught. She should have clubbered his head some more with that 9iron!

People cheat but this one get another level, haba!

y would she want to walk away now with just £20M, i know she would prefer to stay so that she can get more moneY. Good on him for making her sigh a pre-nup, £2M for the first 10 yrs of their marriage. and she gets £50M if she stays for another 7 yrs its going to take to rebuild his reputation, not bad for a former nanny and a wannabe model, lucky girl,
Re: Tiger Woods Finally Speaks: 'I Am Deeply Sorry' by thameamead(f): 12:21pm On Feb 27, 2010
his apology was for his sponsors and am sure his wife forced him to apologise to her because he sort of humilated her in a big way and as for him saying she need not attack him, i don't believe a word of it, she attacked him with a golf club when she found out she had lied to her about racheal, the apology was staged and d media was kept away, he was calling the shots, dat goes to show u how arrogant he is.
Re: Tiger Woods Finally Speaks: 'I Am Deeply Sorry' by Seun(m): 12:26pm On Feb 27, 2010
He can never return to being a "all-round role model" in the way he was before this scandal.  The cat is out of the bag.   He should focus on being a role model of hard work.  Losing a couple of millions in sponsorship money won't kill him; he can afford to be honest and sleep better at night!

Tiger Wood says he is SORRY, Why all the haters in NL ? Some one says his mouth like obo, and so on. Come on give the guy a break.

Most athetes have been involved in extra marital at one point in time or the other. If his wife forgives him, so be it. It's not even athletes who do this, what about ordinary bankers, business men, teachers and so on.

Let him apologize and get back his endorsements,
Re: Tiger Woods Finally Speaks: 'I Am Deeply Sorry' by kulumbu: 3:04pm On Mar 02, 2010
let the oyibos judge themselves and treat themselves the way they are.

But what concerns the local blackies here who still crucify Tiger Wood,

just think about it if you are to be half famous or wealthy like this person you regard as flirt wont you do more?

This case is applicable to a Bible story where Jesus said " Only those who have not commmted adultry should stone the old Tiger Wood''

Behold my friends, no one could pick a stone.

That is why the adage says ' the person robs till dawn is called a thief

whereas everybody is a thief one way or the other

Don't you think it's quite naive to blame someone else for you naivety hmmm?

Maybe i missed it but i don't recall TW ever giving an interview to say his job is to make you believe there are still upstanding people in the world.

The man plays golf. . .he hits tiny balls with a rod for hours. . .This is what he does, don't see how that translates to him being a morality compass for you. Why not look up to people you actually know to fill in that role?

Just a suggestion.

Tiger's ex comes to his defence:

Tiger Woods was my boyfriend for a year and a half while we were both undergraduates at Stanford. I've never spoken to the press about him; I'm not coming forward now for money or to advance any pathetic showbiz aspirations, but merely to stick up for a friend. I haven't seen Tiger since the late ’90s, but I know who he is at his core because we were together during some of his most formative years. He was so human and cared so much about other people and the world around him. This may surprise some people, but Tiger was a great boyfriend.

I have so many fond memories of our time together. At that age Tiger had an amazing metabolism so we spent a lot of time eating. Our favorite restaurant was a Chinese joint in Mountain View; the guys there must have been golf fans because they always gave us free desserts, which was a big deal to us.

I walked many golf courses watching Tiger play, sometimes with his mother, Tida. I grew up on an Indian reservation in Minnesota, and I think Tida accepted me so readily because Tiger and I shared many of the same values. Earl and I talked a lot about politics and national affairs, and Earl often made me laugh so hard, my stomach muscles cramped. He loved to tease Tiger and me about our puppy love.

During our Southern California road trips Tiger and I spent a lot of time at the beach. We would steal a bottle of whiskey from Earl or I’d use my fake ID to buy a jug of wine, and we’d hang out and dream about the future. Tiger was very driven to be a great golfer, but he also talked a lot about wanting to make a larger contribution to society. Settling down was not a priority; Earl had drilled into Tiger that he should wait until his 30s to get married.

Our relationship ended when Tiger turned pro after his sophomore year. Becoming the first person in my family to earn a college degree was so important to me that I wasn’t willing to give up my studies to follow him. Like everyone else, I was shocked by the revelations about his infidelities. The Tiger I knew was loyal, devoted and self- controlled. I’m not naive, but I can say with certainty that he was faithful during the time we dated. The speculation that he's being treated for sex addiction is surprising because we enjoyed a normal sexual relationship.

I don’t have any insight into how he led such a double life. I will say that Tiger had an ability to shut things out and compartmentalize his emotions. Even back then he felt enormous pressure to be Tiger Woods. Maybe this was his form of escape.

Obviously Tiger has made some big mistakes, but he’s apologized and seems to be trying to heal himself and his family. I hope the public will forgive him because he deserves a second chance. He’s a good person with a caring heart.

After Thierry Henry's divorce and P. Diddy's on/off drama with Kim, I thought I still had a Hero in Tiger. I'm deeply disappointed, man. Anyway, Tiger is still a Genius in the Golf world, and I hope he returns soon. Tiger isn't alone, the world is full of Flawed Geniuses!!!

A lot of people care: Tiger's fans (including me); his sponsors (who r nw distancing themselves frm him in order 2 protect their brands); his wife (nw heartbroken, but stands 2 gain substantially frm a divorce settlement); his mum (disappointed, but still cares 4 him); even his fellow competitors (they nw c an opportunity 2 close their ranks on his achievements) . . .

@ SwtzMinx - exactly

Young guy - fame got to his head - made some mistake (14 actually grin) - got caught cry - next time he will know better cool

As the saying goes - let he without sin cast the first stone.

Everyone deserves a 2 and even 3rd chance!
