● Luke claimed Jesus Christ sent out 72 disciples(including women)
● The Book of Acts of the Apostles claims that 120 disciples were baptized on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost came down.
● Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 claimed that Jesus Christ had about 500 disciples as of the day of His ascension who witnessed it.
● And John, the Revelator, claimed that the special people prophesied in Isaiah 66 vs 18 - 21 who were marked by God and sent out of Jerusalem before its destruction in about 70AD was 144000 in number.

All of this happened within the same generation that was Jesus Christ and His disciples, the same generation that marked the final days or end of days or last days of God's Judgement against the Nation of Israel(and Judah) in the Land of Canaan following His Old Law of Moses.
