Luke10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

The all things delivered to Christ, of his Father, is a comprehensive expression, to denote the office and authority of Christ, as mediator. This part I do not allude to in respect to the depth of mystery contained in this verse; for though such, is the infinite fullness of Christ, that neither men nor angels can have capacities competent to conceive, yet this is not the most wonderful doctrine which this verse calls the church to contemplate. No man knoweth who the Son is but the Father: and, in like manner, who the Father is but the Son. Here are depths indeed of mystery. We are told by the Evangelist John, that no man hath seen God at any time , but that the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him, John 1:18. So that nothing can be more plain, than that it became impossible for the creation of God to know anything of Jehovah, in his three-fold character of persons, but by the immediate act of the Son, begotten into his mediatorial character, God-Man in one person, thereby to reveal him. By this voluntary act of the Son of God, and by this humbling himself, in order to make this revelation through the medium of the manhood, he hath done that, which, without this union of nature, never could have been done. And by this act, he hath brought in a new glory to the Godhead, in that his creatures have now a knowledge of the Father, Son, and Spirit; and which opens to the felicity of God's intelligent creation to all eternity. Our Lord's expression is striking: No man knoweth who the Son is but the Father: that is, as Son of God. It is God only, that can know God. For though the persons in the Godhead are revealed, sufficiently plain in proof, as articles of faith, yet none knoweth how the Son is Son but the Father. It is the Father only who knoweth the Son, as a person of equal dignity and glory with himself. And so, in like manner, No man knoweth who the Father is save the Son. The personal apprehension of each is to each, Father, Son, and Spirit, can be known only as such in their essential nature and Godhead, by each other. And when Jesus adds, and he to whom the Son will reveal him: that is, in making such a revelation of him, as he came purposely to make, and the enlightened soul, by grace, is capable of receiving.

Next is knowing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, many religion a likes fail in this area and many are even buoyant they do, but no one can see God/Heaven without Him. How Jesus is Lord is solely responsibility of Holy Spirit who has Masters and PhD in the lines of teaching, you are of God's plan and in Jesus plan if you are an attentive listener and student of Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit is God's spirit and the simplicity of a corded oneness of the three identifiable branches of God can only be made difficult by satan our unrelenting enemy, satan is reputed for falling the chosen but God is more determined. Because God is purely Love undiluted.

What makes Christianity different from every other religion is not that we worship God actually, it is that we worship Jesus as God. Every other religion claim that we are all worshipping the same God, but the distinction of Christianity is that Jesus is God in the flesh. The Jews don’t accept that Jesus is the Messiah, but Muslims do. The fact that Jesus is God is the distinction of Christianity. This is what makes you a child of God. The Bible says whosoever denies this does not have the Father neither does he have the son.

Jesus is God. He’s not just a prophet. He’s not just the Messiah, He’s not just the healer, He’s not just a messenger. No, He is God in the flesh. If you don’t know or accept that, you are not a Christian, neither are you a child of God. What makes Christianity different and unique is that we worship Jesus as God in the flesh. The Godhead—God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit—are co-equal and co-eternal. So, we worship Jesus as God. We don’t worship the Holy Spirit; He helps us to worship Jesus.

You must know who you worship. When we say Mighty God, it is Jesus we are worshipping. Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Jesus is not a man like any other man. He was not born like any other man was born, He became man. So, when you worship Him, that must be at the back of your mind. He’s not just a good man, one special man, or a mysterious man that walked among us. You can call yourself a God-man, but He’s God in the flesh. When the Bible called Him the first begotten of the Father, it’s not like you and I that are born again. He is the son of God, equal with God in the bosom of the Father that came to redeem man. He became man for our sake to redeem us. He is equal with God but was made in the likeness of man and thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Philippians 2:5-9. If you don’t accept Him like that here on earth, you will die but still acknowledge Him as God before you go to hell forever.

When we call the name of Jesus, we are not just calling the name of a man that was good. We are calling the name of God Almighty. God has given Him the name that is above every other name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, every tongue confess; of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. If you don’t accept Him as God in the flesh, you can’t call His name and it will work.

Not understanding this truth is the reason why the worship of many people is not effective, because they worship from a wrong doctrine. They are trying to use that name as a magic wand. When they called him Lord in Acts of the Apostles, they were referring to Him as God, and that was why they persecuted them. The disciples that died for Him didn’t just die for a good man even though people can die for a good man. There are people that die for a good cause, but they were willing to die because they knew He was God in the flesh.

He said of Himself, “Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58-59), and they wanted to stone Him. If anybody is going to kill you for being a Christian, this is what they will kill you for, that you accept Jesus as God. Many other religions accept that Jesus was one of the prophets, but you must accept Him as God in the flesh for you to be a Christian. If you don’t accept that, believe me honestly you are not a Christian. That is what the devil will persecute you for. That is the reason behind His uniqueness. That is the reason behind His peculiarities. That is the reason behind the controversies about Him.

You may be born by Christian parents, you may be going to church, you may even be speaking in tongues but, you are not a Christian if you don’t accept Jesus as God in the flesh. You are not one of us and you are not one of His if you don’t accept that. I don’t know where you got the tongues you are speaking from but if you don’t accept Him as God in the flesh, one day you will find yourself in hell and then find out what happened. He is God in the flesh. That is who we honour, that is who we worship. That is what makes us Christians.

You are not a Christian just because you are living ‘holy’, anybody can live a moral life. There are many people that are living better moral lives than Christians, but they don’t accept Jesus as God in the flesh. There are people that are not born again that don’t tell lies; that does not make them children of God. But you must believe and accept that He’s God in the flesh.

You can even be a pastor, you can be preaching but if you don’t believe in your heart that Jesus is God in the flesh, you are not a Christian.

For the singles that want to marry, ask the person you want to marry if he/she believes Jesus is God in the flesh. If he/she doesn’t believe, it is not a Christian you are marrying. And you must be able to support this with the Bible.

According to the Bible, anybody that does not accept this truth is the anti-Christ.

1 John 4:3

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Muslims believe in the anti-Christ, but they don’t believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. You must clear your doctrine and be clear about what you believe and what you are standing on.

Jesus is the problem among all the worldviews. There are people that cast out demons without believing in Jesus. There are herbalists that cure mad people in exchange for demons. So, don’t get involved in that. Until you come to accept that Jesus is God in the flesh in your doctrine, you are not worshipping God and you are limiting His glory.

Great indeed is the mystery of Godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory (1 Timothy 3:16): this is what the devil has removed from every other religion and that’s their greatest failure. There are religions that everything is so much like Christianity except that they don’t believe Jesus is God in the flesh. There are religions that believe in the resurrection and in the coming back of Jesus, but they just don’t believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. The Holy Ghost is God on the earth and God in action today, but the Holy Ghost is not God in the flesh because He didn’t come in the flesh. Some of the religions sing better songs than we sing. They call God more beautiful names but just find it impossible to believe that He is God in the flesh. Is he God in the flesh to you?

Jesus is not God but in that verse , Jesus is demonstrating his authority hand over to Him by God . There is God standing alone and there is son standing at right hand of God . in john 15:1-4 there Jesus talks about being a vine and His father be the husbandman in that verse you will see two subjects the father and son.

Jesus Christ said eli eli lama sabathanni which means "my father my father " who is that father is shouting at ? to Himself ? don't sound stupid to prove what's not in the people. Jesus is the Messiah period. in Mathew 28:18-19 He said power in heaven , on earth and in the sea have been given unto Him then ask yourself who gave Him the power? who own the power before giving it to Him? why can't you use your sense.

Pagan idea. Your God is One God without son or any partner. Jesus is not your God or son of God.

...and why can't you read your bible and simply comprehend what it says! The bible say that all things were created by Him(Jesus), through Him and For Him(Colossian s1:16). So how is He not your God? Oh wait... I forgot you're a Catholic who bows before a graven image called Mary!

Whatever you worship becomes your God, and christans (directly and indirectly) worship Jesus Christ. This is a fact. Only a fool will want to see where it is clearly written where Jesus said He is God. Jesus never expressly said He was God, rather His word and doings made Him God, which was why the Pharisees wanted to stone Him in the first place (John 10:33)

John 14:1 says- let not your heart be troubled:ye believe in God, believe also in me. now two entities are involve in that verse which is God and Jesus. for you to understand the meaning of that verse you quoted you have to know that no one can exist without God in him or her that your breath is an hand print of God you can't exist without God either you are pagan, atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, belief or religion. that life in you is of God simple as that. now a place in the bible says if any one receive you, received me and who received me received who sent me says by Jesus. Jesus Christ is not God but all powers have been given to Him to rule.

Oga, you are just deceiving yourself by prolonging matters. Jesus is God. He made this clear in John 14:9-10 when Philip wanted to know who He really was. Phillip had previously asked Him to show them the Father (God) but what did He say them : "Have I been with you so long that you do not know Me. He who has seen Me has seen the Father, so how can you say show us the Father? Don't you know that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me...?(John14:9-14) ". This is clearly revelation of who Jesus really was. So stop being silly.

can you see you are just confused here I gave you the same chapter you quoted those that mean Jesus did not know what he was saying in verse 1? okay that place Jacob fought angel and angel said to Jacob that " today you have wrestled with God! when did Jacob wrestle with God in that verse? but this is simple meaning that language is that as far the heavenly entities are concern anytime they are on errand by God , any event conducted by them are done after the name of God!!! period. simple. the idea of Jesus is God is from Catholic perception in order to create Trinity. like God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit.

Oga your point is super baseless. In John4:1 you quoted earlier, Jesus told His disciples to believe in God and to believe in Him, right? . Now if you had read further you would see that His discpiles wanted to know who His Father was (because He always spoke about His Father), which then bring us to the John14:9-14 in which Jesus clearly speaks to His disciples (like Philip) on who He really was. Now, according to the scripture, Jesus is the only Person who knows who the Father is (Matthew 11:27)... and it is only Him (Jesus) that can reveal the Father to anyone. Or are you saying you know Jesus better than Himself or the Father..? Lol

I laugh you ! I gave you an example of Jacob wrestled with angel and the angel said Jacob was wrestling with God? what's the meaning of that words to you? now Jesus said if you see the son, you have seen the father but Jesus could have said I am the father but Jesus never took the position of the father rather He demonstrated the unity and love between Him and His father. simple don't misquote the word of God.

Oga you're a liar. Jesus spoke plainly to His disciples (John 14:9-14) and not in parables. So how can you be giving that lay interpretation to what is inferred...? Or are you saying Jesus then lied to His disciples?

"Jesus Christ is the only person who knows 'who the Father is" i agree with you...
Did Jesus Christ tell you he is the Father?

Shelumiel:
Oga, you are just deceiving yourself by prolonging matters. Jesus is God. He made this clear in John 14:9-10 when Philip wanted to know who He really was. Phillip had previously asked Him to show them the Father (God) but what did He say them : "Have I been with you so long that you do not know Me. He who has seen Me has seen the Father, so how can you say show us the Father? Don't you know that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me...?(John14:9-14) ". This is clearly revelation of who Jesus really was. So stop being silly.
Does God have a Father?
John 14:9-10, you claim Jesus is God & John 17:3,Jesus says he is not "the ONE TRUE God".
Why does Jesus contradict your claim in John 14:9-10 ?
Either your claim of John 14:9-10 is false or Jesus Christ is lying at John 17:3, please address this discrepancy....

are you blind or you don't know the difference between these sentences: I am the father and if you have seen me , you have seen my father can't you understand simple explanation?john 14:6 says I am the way , the truth, and the life : no man cometh unto the FATHER ; but by me......Jesus is the link to the father, if Jesus is the father he wouldn't have said is the way to the father again. john 14:9-14 still saying showing that God have hand over all things to Him. now reason why Jesus is our mediator or advocate, mediating or advocating between you and who? use your brain to reason.

Oga I say you are a liar. Philip asked Jesus plainly(and not in parables) to show them who the Father was, and He told them pointedly that anyone who has seen Him has seen the Father: for the Father dwells in Him(Jesus) and He dwells in the Father(14:9-14). And this shown as true in Colossians 2: 9 that confirms Jesus as being the fullness of the Godhead (the Father and Holy Spirit) in bodily form. Now if we move on further, Paul also attested this to Timothy as "the great mystery" in 1Timothy 3:16 which says " And without controversy, great is the mystery of Godliness : for God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels (imagine! Angels had never even seen God before) and preached unto the gentiles and received up in glory ". Even prior to the birth of Jesus, scripture foretold of God coming to man to redeem him. And Isaiah 9:6 states this clearly that a son(Jesus) will be born to mankind and his identity (name) would be The everlasting God, the prince peace. Now why would Isaiah make this statement, how did he know this? Because it was a mystery that was revealed by to him by God Himself. This thing is crystal clear: Jesus is God and God is Jesus and it is through His name we have eternal life and a hope; it is through this same Jesus that judgment will come; and this same Jesus is the same Person who created all things (visible and invisible) in heaven and on earth(Colossian 1:16). You can see how I am using scripture upon scripture to butress my point. Now defend these verses. And don't start giving me twisted versions of your own interpretations. Because so far, that is what you're doing.

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are 1*1*1=1

Not 1+1+1=3

They are just one appearing in three forms, human too has this tripartite nature because we are made after the forms of God, though we only know our body just like we only understand and know God the Father, we don't really know who Jesus is except him being a physical being who lives in Insreal.

There are so much things to talk about Jesus, as Bible itself was all about Jesus, Holy Spirit help Christan to know Jesus is God a literary knowledge will struggles, but a Christian fill of Holy Spirit can help non believer it's the assignment given to us to do

My advice is for people who will come across this message to beckon to know, open your mind for what is mystery of God but truth

Another thing is the fact that Jesus spake in parables, it's so because parables mades him to escape Israelites condemnation, parables are also reason why some of us quoting Jesus wrongly too even though he mades us understand who he was clearly

For brethren that will be joining me in explaining who Jesus is should be patient enough to explain as many parables to people

Then I saw a lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. 7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. my question: who is the Him on the throne and that lamb?

John 11:41 says Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid and Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, Father, I thank Thee that Thou hast heard me. who is that Father Jesus was talking to there?
