This anchor sef. He gave the force PPRO too much time to state the same thing over and over again. I hate it when issues of immense importance come up and time decides to play the bitch. Must the TV stations always go live with everything? Why couldn't they do a recorded version and put it on the Internet for people to see. With that at least, time wouldn't be a constraint and every party would get the chance to say whatever they have to say with enough clarity. I felt the senator had so much to say but was constrained by the little time he had and his lack of oratory skills. His closing remarks though... "I think the police authorities are confused, because just two weeks ago the IG bought ticket for me to be on his delegation to Morocco". Haha! Yet they call the man a deserter. Very confused set of people. They chose to attack his person in other to discredit his criticism. The PPRO is a sworn enemy of himself. He needs proof for everything. He even needs it to believe that his sons weren't fathered by his former landlord. The onus lies on his wife. Not Nigerians. 1 Like |

On the closing note: So IGP bought flight tickets for a 'deserter' to attend a Police event in Morocco just 2 weeks ago? The Force PRO spent his time attacking the messenger and not the message 1 Like |

doublefreez: Does the presenter have to look far. His company and studios are probably guarded by the same police. All he needs to do is to go upstairs to his accounts department and find the facts, simple. But my guess is that Lai Mohd has paid them a courtesy call/ solidarity visit and they will not want to put governent in bad light in anyway. Shame. 2 Likes |

The part I don't understand is why corporations won't come to say this truth so the financial burden on them would be alleviated. However, is it not nigeria, they would rather the force men bribes than pay the huge charges that would be meted on them by the FG should FG consider to make this a revenue option. 1 Like |

Mcowubaba: That is the point. You may say your work is hazardous, and yes i would agree with you but the point is generally doctors are well remunerated for their services. My dad is one, and he employs others so i can speak with some authority here. The level of risk is also vastly different. Medical risks can and should be mitigated by following basic precautions. In police work, once you have that uniform on, you become an automatic target for instant death. 1 Like |

jidemoh: Part of the problem is that most civilians do not know what is legal and illegal. It is perfectly legal for a policeman seconded to a bank to collect an allowance from them, while the bank should also pay for their services. |

Sirheny007: Google the manpower of the entire Police force and do statistical analysis viz a viz the population . Take note of the number of policemen with the political office holders ,corporate world ,the offices and the remaining for the public. Secondly there are private investigators in Nigeria ,even handling international assignment . The only issue is that they don't advertise for security reason on account of the sensitivity of their job, they only operate by referral. If you need you can get .Some handle and package assignment for the police after investigation. Go to LinkedIn and do the checking . |

The massive corruption in the Nigeria police can better be imagined, if only Buhari can take a noose on them, the IG run a ring of organized corruption, ranging from illegal deduction of their staff salary, various officers are paid differently according to their commands, the Commissioner of police in each state deduct huge amount of money from their payment system, they in turn remit to the IG. That is why they are doing everything possible to frustrate their enrollment into IPPIS payments platform of the government. Their staffs are hopelessly treated, promotions are given to the highest bidder. Such is a sordid state of an important organization that suppose to be an eye in the fight against corruption. |

Banks pay 2 mopols attached to them N33,000 weekly in portharcourt. This is verifiable as its paid into the account of one of the officers who in turn credit the office and the other member. These are illegal collection apart from their salaries. This is paid every Friday from security expense account. Why is the ppro claiming not to know. |

The Nigerian police is the most corrupt organization on earth. An organization that will ask an armed robbery victim to pay to write a statement |
