Blood they say is the life of the body, it has to be adequate in quality and quantity at every time to ensure optimal health condition.Any blood loss, no matter how minimal, devastates various body mechanism even if bodily symptoms are not apparent.

Blood transfusion is a process by which “compatible and healthy blood” is infused into an individual whose need for blood would help to preserve/prolong/promote life at that instance.

5. If the tattoo is more than a year the person can donate. If it's a fresh tattoo he/she will be deferred

i have seen hospital where they don't screen the blood they transfuse, that does not make it right. Tatoo inks are made of Heavy metals that might constitute poisoning.More so people with tatoos are more likely to have hepatitis B, Hepatitis C among others

FYI....It was both a government and reputable private hospital....

these days if you dont take the vaccine any1 can get hepatitis...tatoo or not...
