I was just told, after filing a form at the hospital that the HMOs actually take the data and medical conditions and associated bills to the employee lovers as proof of expenditure so insurance premiums will be paid. If this is true, this is highly unprofessional.
Insurance doesn't need such evidence for yearly premium to be paid. Besides patients privacy is paramount in medical practice. Any such exposure down to the age he stated at the hospital has to be with such patients consent.
