The alumni association of Adeniran Ogunsanya college of education (AOCOED), Lagos, has joined all well meaning college community on behalf of the over two thousand alumni members to congratulate the newly elected students union executives of AOCOED led by its president - elect, Comrade Isiaq Lukman.

In separate letters signed by Prince Shina Akintolure and Mr. Ismaila Yusuf, the National President and the Secretary respectively, the alumni association executives appreciated the management for conducting a peaceful election in quest to see the students exercise their franchise in line with the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, the alumni association while congratulating the newly elected executives of the students union, charges them to adopt the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques in resolving crises, the alumni representatives went further to urge the students union to be partners in progress to drive the college progressively to meet the international academic standard on teachers education.

"We acknowledge the efforts of the management in giving the necessary support for successful conduction of a crises-free students union election , this will not only strengthen the students confidence to express their franchise, it will also prepare them for future leadership challenges, as we foresaw, our products will rule in this nation and the world at large".

"In every society, every one is an instrument, either constructively or the other way round, as students leaders, it's important to be partners in progress, harness ideas and build this institution to the international academic standard in order to strengthen our nation through qualitative teachers education".

The national alumni president, Prince Shina Akintolure, further assured the students union leaders of the alumni association supports and helping them drive home their demands genuinely if need arise.
