They should have let the results be for national interest.
the National interest was to have a free, fair and credible process. That didn't happen.

correct Tonye, it was shambolic in execution and spirit..
Dear SmallSimba Ps: The general outline of the decision by the CJ was given and a detailed one is sure to come. BTW the 2013 decision was scoriated around the world by legal scholars and thoroughly embarrassed the legal profession in Kenya, if not just for its sheer lack of jurisprudence, but for its lack of substance since it was long on procedure and short on the truth, which it also failed to acknowledge. That being said, its not about Raila (hate him/love him/neutral), its about the need for a free and fair process, which it wasn't. This will no doubt open the way for more petitions for other positions as well from governor to local reps. This is the beginning of the end of electoral authoritarianism in Africa. There are several places in Africa where open and serious electoral fraud takes place, Uganda and Zimbabwe come instantly to mind.

You see I don't know what is wrong with some Nigerians bro. How can one say electoral fraud should be allowed for the sake of "National Interest"? Which National interest? I'm so pleased with the judgement

What na? You mean they should allow rape of democracy to allow stability? How can there be political stability without justice?

If Kenyans want Odinga then so be it man... Heaven will not fall
So it is not rape of democracy when politicians use every opportunity to cause instability if the lose election?
Would you have preferred monkey and baboon soaked in blood in 9ja post election 2017? Jonathan wisely thought no.

The Presidency influences the decisions of Judiciary in Nigeria...
paiz:
This is how a supreme court should act when neccessary, not the one we have here that corruption, bigotry and tribalism has infiltrated.
Nigeria is a joke

Electronic Tallying was the source of all this nonsense. No Election will be perfect and the threshhold for overturning an election should be very high lest the people be disenfranchised. This will be the most ridiculed judgement by legal scolars. I can't believ the judges made such stupid rulings
pls let's stop this act if conjuring words or theories to justify what's wrong out of sentiments, what is electronic tallying n how is it the same as electronic voting?,yes with human nothing can be perfect but we can have an acceptable standard. infact there is the need to have a law that should stipulate what percentage of registered voters should vote before an election is valid
