This one just woke up and wants me to notice him, who was president during the last census. We are talking of population here you Somali Jew so read the text again and reply me and tell me how Buhari came into the discuss.

Hahaha hahaha. U see how difficult it could be to trace ur own line of words when you lack tact and sagacity to meaningful interchange online.

Who talked about "political miscalculation" if you weren't referring to 2015 general election that featured Buhari and the SE losing out? grin

Don't mind those lazy goblins posting lies everyday.
I wanted to see source of the information only to be disappointed.

The op, quite clearly, wasn't brilliant in a bid to justifying his principals nepotistic tendencies.

I don suffer for nairaland because of some people brain, since others understood what I meant and you don't, I'll explain.
MASSOB actively told ndigbo to boycott the census in 2006 and unfortunately many people complied thereby undercounting the SE, I hope your brain can now connect the undercounting and political miscalculation I meant.
I hope you are so ashamed this Sunday morning

This is the Analyzed data based on population figures of each state.
From the wall of Akin Omoz-Oarhe:
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS, RELEASED STATISTICS OF EMPLOYMENTS INTO OUR PUBLIC SERVICE.
THE RAW FIGURES PER STATE ARE ALL OVER FACEBOOK.
THIS GOT MY ORIENTAL BROTHERS TALKING AGAIN.
KNOWING THAT NOT SO MANY LIKE FIGURES, I HAVE TRIED TO TIDY THEM UP FOR EASE OF UNDERSTANDING.
(A). EMPLOYMENT INTO THE PUBLIC SERVICE
NE with a population of 19.0m has 7,793
NW with a population of 35.8m has 8,806
SE with a population of 16.4m has 16,540
NC with a population of 20.3m has 17,661
SS with a population of 21.0m has 18,038
SW with a population of 27.6m has 19,620
To appreciate this figures, it is necessary to find out how many employees are taken from every 1 million people in each of the geographical zones.
The result is:
1st. SE has 1,009 Employees per million
2nd. NC has 970 Employees per million
3rd. SS has 859 Employees per million
4th SW has 711 Employees per million
5th NE has 410 Employees per million
6th NW has 246 Employees per million
Here we can see that South Eastern Zone has over 1000 people engaged in the public service of Nigeria in every 1 million Igbo people, whereas only 246 people are engaged in North West !
Remember that this is the Zone of the President of Nigeria.
Curiously South West, the Zone of the Vice President is the least in Southern Nigeria with the employment of 711 people in a million.
It is pertinent to see the trend as regards Political Office holders.
Probably, those that lost out in the Public Service, are compensated with Political offices.
Let's perform sample surgical operation on the political employees.
(B). POLITICAL APPOINTEES
We all have the statistics of political appointees of the current Buhari administration.
NW has 51political appointees from 7 states
NC has 47 political appointees from 6 states
NE has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SW has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SS has 45 political appointees from 6 States
SE has 41 political appointees from 5 states
These translate to:
1st. SE: 2.50 appointees in a million.
2nd. NE: 2.37 appointees in a million.
3rd. NC: 2.34 appointees in a million.
4th. SS: 2.14 appointees in a million.
5th. SW:1.63 appointees in a million.
6th. NW:1.42 appointees in a million.
Alternatively:
1st. SE: has 1 appointee in every 400,000
2nd. NE: has 1 appointee in every 422,000
3rd. NC: has 1 appointee in every 427,000
4th. SS: has 1 appointee in every 467,000
5th. SW: has 1 appointee in every 614,000
6th. NW: has 1 appointee in every 704,000
Once again topping the list of Beneficiary is South East with one political appointee for every 400,000 people.
As if it is an intentional act, NW, from whence the President hails has the least of 1 political appointees for every 704, 000 people while the figure for Osinbajo's Zone is 614,000 and is the least in the South.
THIS IS NOT MY DEFINITION OF "MARGINALIZATION" BEING PEDDLED BY THE IGBOS THAT ARE, IN FACT THE BIGGEST BENEFICIARY IN NIGERIA.
FIGURES DON'T LIE.
PLEASE BRING THESE FIGURES TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF NNIA NWODO OF OHANIEZE, DR. EZEIFE AND PROF BEN NWANBEZE.
What makes me laugh is when I see some Yoruba crying for the Igbos when the latter talk about Marginalization.
They should be crying for themselves.
The MARGINALIZATION doesn't come from the number employed. What you should ask yourself is, why are all the top Jobs meant for the Northerners who have fewer number of civil servants in the Public service as against the Sw, the Se, and the Ss, combined.
Does it mean that these fewer Northerners are better or merit the top jobs?

So Dr Joe Abah went to all ministries and parastatals and told each of them to collate the names of all federal civil servants and their states of origin?
But the FG has everyday been unearthing thousands of ghost workers, claiming to save the govt several billions in salaries.
Assuming these figures are correct, which is not likely in the least, has anybody with any sort of brain ever sat down to analyze that the bloated figures of SW and SE employees might be ghost workers put into the payroll by the oga's from the other tribe?
A physical verification would put a lie to these figures being cooked up to justify the increasingly evident nepotism and bigotry of this goverment.

Arent you guys ashamed of yourselves bringing up these false figures.

All regions have at least 43 political appointees but the southeast a majority tribe in Nigeria has only 41.

Census has not been done in over 10years and you people declared population of Nigerians from the north.
Southeast has the 4th highest number of civil servants despite the fact that it has the largest number of graduates in the country and you people are justifying it.

May God apportion your desitinies the way Nigeria is appprtioning the destiny of Igbos.

The op was being clever by half. The South East leadership in the federal civil service did not come about by equity, fairness or any political advantages. They got such numbers by sheer business acumen. Otherwise called cash and carry. Whereas other zones are reluctant to buy slots in the civil service, my south east brothers are willing to pay any amount for such jobs. Just as they do for contracts, lands, etc, wherever they are rated highest, its their money and ability to take risk that is going for them. The system is definitely rigged against them in any political contest.
Re: Number Of Federal Civil Servants State By State by madenigga(m): 10:29am On Sep 03, 2017
As far as Nigeria continues doing this grave injustice to igbos it would continue to be doomed.

We are going to continue to be stagnant.

Ghana would surpass us, even Niger would surpass us.

Then when we try to think our strength is our population. Something big would come up that would erase it.

Nigeria is doomed. As far as there is injustice there would never ever be peace or prosperity.

Point no.1. BPSR is not the Federal Civil Service Commission and it's outside it's mandate to release such statistics.

Point no.2. Please extend to the entire public service. Civil Service is but a small fraction of the entire public service. Add all agencies like customs, police, army, etc. Do you know that even BPSR is not in the figures because it's public service and not civil service

And the north has wondered why South East has been flooring others in the civil service and they discovered that contrary to the wide held view, South East is the most educated is Nigeria and north and west can't compete their IQ and academic intelligence. Hence they reduced jamb cut off mark of versifies to 120/400 for give better opportunity their own.

WHERE ON EARTH IS 30% ACCEPTED AS PASS MARK?
Re: Number Of Federal Civil Servants State By State by pazienza(m): 11:40am On Sep 03, 2017
Stupid stats with no credibility.

1. The NPC population stats takes cognizant of population of people resident in SE and not population of people with SE origins
Where as employment stats take cognizant of population of people of SE origin. Obviously there are bound to be discrepancy in the figures .

Obviously, the Igbo population is more than the population of people resident in SE and this fact was not accounted for in your stats.

List of people that receive 18k minimum wage. Yet una Don dey envy this 18k. How many senators are from North central alone. Their one month salary may pay annual salary of the entire civil servants is south east. We see clearly through your game. Contunu!

Agreed the Igbos are not marginalized in your own terms, can you allow them to go so that you can have all the federal appointments/jobs to yourselves?
Who is holding them not to go. Do igbo bring anything to the table that any tribe can envy. Igbo are parasites nothing more. They can go for all I care.

Stup1d1ty is when a parasite is feeding off you and you get angry anytime it wants to leave.

If we contribute or have nothing no problem. Ita better to have nothing and live in peace than have everything and be suffering.
