It was just like any other day to Chris. A reluctant jump out of bed at 6.00am, a sleepy mumble of prayers, 15 minutes laboured workout (it was more gasping than work), the shower and then, the start of a nerve racking day in school.

The back of the class, that was his position. Alone at the back row, that was his situation. Answer every question before anyone else, those were his actions. Nobody liked him and he didn’t care. He used to care when he’d just gotten admission, there were days when he had wondered why answering class questions first and correcting others was a crime, days he had been ignored and had been dipped into depression but that was then. Now, he didn’t give a damn, he was smarter than them all and if they couldn’t live with that, eff them all.
