Mobile consumption on the Zero 4 Plus is a delight with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 368 ppi pixel density. Also, it sports 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM in addition to a massive 4000mAh battery. The Zero 4 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow (updatable to Android 7.0 Nougat) on the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset.

Pros

The main advantage of the Zero 4 Plus is the 20.7MP rear camera with features such as LED Flash, laser focus, and optical image stabilisation. Also, the front camera features wide angle lens for better selfies. Another plus of the device is the powerful Deca-core 2.1 GHz with Mali-T880 processor. With the powerful processor and 4GB RAM, you can rest assure that the Zero 4 Plus will handle multitasking efficiently.

Other excellent pros of this Infinix phone are a premium build, LED notification, 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, long battery life with fast charging. What more? It has a large, vibrant display, outstanding camera performance, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection, and a premium build.

Cons

The Zero 4 Plus is a great device but has some minor drawbacks. The main disadvantage is the hybrid SIM setup and the weight. The device is rather big and heavy weight, so if you’re not used to handling phablets, you may find it uncomfortable in the beginning. However, if you’re on a hunt for a good phablet at a moderate price, then the Zero 4 Plus is worthy of consideration.

Infinix Zero 3

The 2015 flagship smartphone, Infinix Zero 3 was a big thing in the Nigerian phone market. Although it has been succeeded by the Infinix Zero 4, the Zero 3 is still a great buy. It sports some of the most desirable features expected in a smartphone. The sleek yet durable device is crafted with first class materials to give it a classy look. It also features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED screen with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla glass 3.

Pros

The selling point of this Infinix smartphone is the Sony 20.7 MP rear camera with double LED flash, plus the ultra-high definition 4K video recording capability of the rear camera. You can shoot a movie with this amazing camera! Another great feature is the 3GB RAM and the 2.2GHz Octa Core processor which allows for smoother operation and a better gaming experience.

In sum, great features such as a chic and durable classic design, crystal clear display quality, a 20.7MP Sony CMOS camera, makes the Zero 3 a better device than even the newly released smartphones.

Cons

The drawback of the Zero 3 is the lack of fingerprint scanner and 4G LTE connectivity. Other cons are the non-removable battery and non-openable back cover. Moreover, the phone comes with no earphone. But if you can get good earphones, you’ll enjoy what Infinix calls Hi-fi grade music.

Infinix Note 4

The Note 4 is the successor of the Infinix Note 3. The device offers a 5.7-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. You get 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB. The Note 4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat on a 1.3GHz octa-core processor with MediaTek Helio X10.

Pros

Why should you consider the Note 4?

It sports a 4300mAh battery which according to Infinix, can power your device up to two days on moderate use. Also, the Charge 4.0 technology enables the device to charge faster, and the 5V5A low voltage DC charging technology increases the charging efficiency to 96%. Furthermore, the Note 4 has 4G connectivity, as well as a fingerprint sensor.

Besides, the powerful Note 4 octa-core processor combined with the 3GB RAM gives better-quality experiences in streaming, gaming, or browsing the internet. What more? The Note 4 offers top quality cameras, with a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. Therefore, if you need a smartphone with a large screen, vivid display and big battery with flash charging, the Infinix Note 4 is a good option.

Cons

The major disadvantage of the Infinix Note 4 is that it is a bit heavy due to its massive battery and screen size. Also, there’s no Glo 4G support. In sum, we think the device has positioned itself as a multimedia centric phone that doesn’t cost much.

Infinix S2 Pro

he Infinix Hot S2 Pro comes with a beautiful design and build. It features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with curves on the edges and a metal frame. The Hot s2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs on the XOS based Android N.

Pros

The wide angle-selfie is the most talked about feature of this device. On the front, it has 13MP regular selfie and 8MP wide angle lens which Infinix calls ‘welfies.’ The wide-angle lens allows you to fit in more objects or people in the picture. Also, the 13MP Auto focus rear camera with a dual-tone flash produces eye catching images.

Moreover, the S2 Pro has 3GB with 32GB internal storage which when combined with the octa-core makes it a solid all-round performer. What more? The S2 Pro offers above average battery life with a 3000mAh battery and fast charging feature. Besides, you can peg network mode any way you like it.

Cons

The major disadvantage of the Infinix S2 Pro is the lack of 4G support for Glo mobile. Besides, there is no dedicated sim slot for SD card. Moreover, the device comes pre-installed with too many Apps which reduces the memory space available for users. All in all, we think the S2 PRO is a great midrange infinix phone with superb cameras.

Infinix Hot 5

he Infinix Hot 5 is the new baby in the Hot series family. It features almost the same specs with the Infinix Hot 4 except for the dual speakers, Android 7.0 and fingerprint sensor. So, if you already possess the Hot 4, the Infinix Hot 5 is hardly an upgrade.

That said, let’s look at the specs of the Hot 5.

It packs a powerful 4000mAh battery with fast charging feature. Also, it sports a 5.5-inch HD display and comes in a sleek design. The device is powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB RAM.

Also, the XOS based Android Nougat is sure to deliver a great user experience. On the camera department, the Hot 5 features an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. What more? The rear mounted fingerprint scanner adds to the appeal of the Hot 5.

Pros

Why should you buy the Hot 5?

It is affordable, and you get cool specs such as Dirac audio software which makes music or video playback a pleasurable experience. So, if you’re an audiophile or you rely on your smartphone for entertainment, the Hot 5 is for you. Also, the 4000mAh battery is impressive for a budget device.

Cons

The biggest drawback of this infinix phone is lack of 4G connectivity and average camera quality. Also, the device is similar to the Hot 4 and it seems Infinix just repackaged it. These factors might be a turnoff for the Infinix Hot fans who expected the Hot 5 to come with an increase in RAM size and improved camera quality. All in all, we think the Hot 5 is an excellent budget phone.
