Even if the lions were hungry, they won't pose much danger to him because at their juvenile stage, they are yet to acquire the killer instinct and size to pose a serious threat to a full grown man..and moreover this juvenile lions have been raised in captivity when they were still cubs..at this their age they still have a healthy dose of respect for their handlers..until they are fully matured
