Today, it is Igbo he hates and want to kill, tomorrow, it will be yoruba.

Wat has Buhari done about the bokoharam herdsmen?

Has he even called dem to order or say stop.

I can never support a tribal Biggot.

We know he has proven to be partial most times but the igbos have not managed their emotions well. How long will buhari spend as President?

We just hope this events dont snowball into a civil war.

There needs for restraint on both sides. Yorubas would watch for now.

If Buahri think Nigeria will end on top of his Presidency then he has the greatest shock of his live.

A president that has no plan, no economic plan, absolutely nothing.

Nigeria will continue after Buahri, at worst, NASS will impeach the him.

Go and learn your history, boy.

We faced the Nigerian Army under military dictatorship of IBB and Abacha, I was teargassed not once; not twice. Some were flogged . . . I marched with many students and activists, along with the likes of Tinubu, Sowore and many others and some who are no longer with us today, against military juntas to birth this democracy.

Where was your Kanu and you lots then (some of you were not even born or were still wearing nappies to bed then)?

We did all that for a sensible and just cause.

I agree. This military action get as e be. But make no mistake about it, the sw has had more than enough of it's fair share of Nigerian Army brutality. Remember June 12? It got so bad then that igbos fled in droves back to their region thinking and hoping the military would deal us a death blow.

Bro, our people learned some hard lessons during June 12 struggle, which I think is why they are employing more tact in their agitation this time around. If you must take on the Nigerian military, then you best be damn sure you will emerge victorious, else they will just waste your people for nothing.

Our region suffered immensely during June 12. Yoruba people were used as target practice (including many leaders, some of whom were assassinated like chicken with impunity, while many others narrowly escaped into exile) for being at the forefront of demanding for a return to democracy. Nigerian Army is filled with nutjobs and sadists.

All that and what happened...the situation now is even more volatile and the Nigerian government know better than to kill Nnamdi like they wasted Abiola and got away with no consequences, even your Buhari knows the only people capable of starting a bloody civil war that will engulf the whole nation are the Igbos.

For you, everything boils down to hatred for the Hausa/Fulani. That's the wrong way to approach issues. Learn to be open minded and seek reasons.

I'm not their best bud, but it's good to learn to give one a quick pass out of the need to analyse situations more critically before you take a side. These things are not as clear and easy as you make them seem.

Bigotry has you ignoring the most discerning alternative to war. Do you really think you can stock enough arms to keep the military off or that getting the USA to occupy Yoruba land is easy as pie?

''The lines are been drawn already.''

Nigeria may not divide, but it can be restructured (Na the key card for us (Yoruba) be that!)

The immediate above statement is why I had a problem with your thread here: https://www.nairaland.com/4037592/buhari-not-running-2019-go

The bolded portion of your asinine post just buttress my assertions that you guys are truly SMART but only by halves. So, what exactly do you want we yorubas to do? Pull your chestnut out of the fire, ba? The same people that you hated-filled folks abuse, curse and wish all manner of calamities on, daily are the same ones you are now surreptitiously soliciting to put their precious lives on the line for you. Ore wo ni 'pe yin se idi wa? when have you guys ever stood up on our behalf?

The last time your elders embarked on their ill-fated adventures with the north, your late Ikemba chose to come to our region in his fight with the north hoping to turn our ancestral land into a war-zone under the disguise that he's coming to liberate us. However, 'cause we saw through his SMART move you have been labeling us, cowards ever since.

No, you want the same "cowards" to come to your aid? Mba....you have made your bed and as such be prepared to sleep on it, on your own.

As for the (northern) army occupying our region (if it ever occurs), be rest assured that we certainly won't be looking eastwards for your support.

I just tire for markfemi2, imperialyoruba and Alcatraz attempts. What has been Soyinka's gain for going to prison over Biafra matter other than insults? People that are already campaigning for an Atiku presidency with peter obi or Ekweremmadu as VP? Didn't they partner with the Fulani just 9 years after losing 3million folks to them?

I'm not in the least pleased with the nonsense going on in the SE. Its a confrontation between illiterate bearers of govt armoury and brainwashed thoughtless hateful beings who are too dumb to learn. How can any idiot think this is the way to separate in black Africa? Without being armed?!!

They've been screaming Biafra or death since, the time to show their mettle has come. If they succeed, we all will go our separate ways. If they fail (again!), we will have learnt a way not to go about it.

I hope for a peaceful resolution but this hope is useless when the actors in the drama wish to physically engage.

Man seek knowledge

Military Operations currently ongoing in all six geo-political zones against all forms of criminal activities in all the states of the federation:

NORTH EAST - Operation Gama Aiki

NORTH CENTRAL - Operation Safe Haven

NORTH WEST - Operation Sara Daji and Operation Harbin Kunama ( Scorpion)

SOUTH SOUTH (Navy) - Operation Delta Safe formerly called Operation Pulo Shield.

SOUTH WEST - Operation Awase

SOUTH EAST - Operation Iron Fence and Operation Python Dance

Residents in other regions saw the Military officers on their streets, they did not throw stones at them because they understands they are only doing their duties; only in a particular region did some vagabonds believe they have the right to do so and expect the officers to clap for them. If you behave like an animal, you deserve to be treated as one.

They are vagabonds and you still want to be in the same country with them
