Have never written a poem before, neither am I better of when it comes to literature but I just got bored these days, since ASUU no wan let person get joy. But along the line I started writing for no reason and it ended up becoming something really good. I was able come up with a pretty good write up.. Trust me, I was amazed when I did it but I don't really know how other people would see it. That's why I came here to share it with you guys and know what you think. You can say whatever you want, bash me whatsoever or encourage me or compliment what I did and hey! they are all welcomed and appreciated.. here it is, remember it's my first time. Those know more about poetry might find some errors or whatsoever but it's fine cheesy so let's do this...

* I heard the sound again
* I won't respond because it'd be in vain
* It sounded like a voice
* It called my name in a pretty loud noise
* Couldn't help it, i became paranoid
* The distraction I tried to avoid
* But I was only focused on her
* We've been talking; she seems to have a good heart
* I forgot what her name is
* She told me before, you don't have to blame me
* I kept staring at her eyes, couldn't listen to what she was saying
* My heart was like an empty stage
* It felt like we were locked up in a cage
* Her beauty I couldn't resist
* I tried to reach for her hands, she pulled me close and kissed me on my lips
* I couldn't believe this
* Oh, you wouldn't believe this
* Her lips, soft as that of a baby
* "I hope one day she'd be my lady "
* I thought in my head
* I smiled and lit up the room like wildfire
* We became so free like birds on a wire
* Though we were on the rooftop, it felt like an empire
* She told me she loves me
* Still surprised of what just happened, I couldn't talk
* She held my left hand; looking at her straight into her eyes, a reflection of me I saw
* As the wind blew her hair backwards, I became more nervous
* We were still very young don't blame us
* She held my other hand and said
* "I want to tell u something important but am scared
* I need to get this off my chest
* I always knew you not like the rest
* But I want to be your girl "
* Immediately, I knew we were love birds
* Before I could say anything, I got a tap on my back shoulder
* I turned, it was no one but my brother who's 3 years older
* He smiled at me and said "wake up"
* In confusion I tried to know what he meant but before I could think, I found my self on the luxury bus heading from the bus stop to my mom's shop
* I got so angry like a pot bubbling over on the stove.

hope you enjoyed it, please share your thoughts
