*NPG Farms*held a press conference today at her hatchery located at sharp-corner Oluyole Estate Ibadan Oyo State. Various Media present included The Nation Newspaper, Tribune Newspaper& Galaxy Television and representatives from other notable organizations. This was to address the false information which went viral through various media outlets. NPG Farms Hatchery and Sales Unit were placed on hold, over an allegation of Avian Influenza outbreak. Sample of various poultry products was taken to NVRI NATIONAL VETERINARY RESEARCH INSTITUTE (VOM) Jos for laboratory test, which the result proved the tested products negative from Avian Influenza Virus.
This afternoon Co-Founder of NPG Farms & Hatchery Mrs. Sakirat Okewole appreciated everyone for their concerns during this time and enjoined the government agencies proffer better and swift response's to future occurrence to avert destroying the enormous potential of the Agricultural section.
A representative from Avian Influenza desk confirmed the Negative result and opened NPG Farms and Sales outlet for commercial activities to commence and announced the organization is Free From Avian Influenza and all her products are consumable, healthy and of high quality.
