In the Event that you are totally off a church or your church... Do wat the Bible says...

The bible clearly told to us that in a situation were we can't take our farm produce to the house of God because of distance/transportation issues,we should convert them to money and set out to the place the lord shall choose for us. On getting there,we should use that same money and buy anything our heart desires;be it oxen,sheep,wine or a strong drink.

"and thou shalt eat there before the lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household".

Tithe was never meant to be paid in form of money neither was it meant to be given to any priest whatsoever. The bible clearly told us to bring it in form food,wine or farm produce so that everybody would partake of it.

See Malachi 3:8-10.
Verse 10 specifically directs where your tithes should be taken to.... it didn't say take your Tithe to give help... tithe is not your Money. If you can understand dt , You will have not any challenge paying it...
Rendering help to the needy or anyone is Wonderful.. it's Good.... it's awesome...You attract GOD'S Hands with dt.
But Tithe is not Rendering Help.. Tithe is NOT YOUR OWN.. THATS GOD'S CASH. You can't Help GOD. Simply obey and put it where he says you should......

First there's nothing like monetary tithe in the bible.
Secondly,that verse was referring to the Jewish people still under the law.

You can't substitute Tithe for help and vice versa

I have absolutely nothing but my tithe and i have followed paying my tithe strictly and i have already kept my tithe to pay on Sunday but someone very close to me is in great need of help i have no cash but my tithe, if i help this person with my tithe have i faulted?

if u dnt want to be paying ur tithe pls stop, why should u give that ten percent to the needy, what about the 90 percent, can't u give from there？does the bible say that u should do that？ let me tell u something, the bible says that when u are reaping ur harvest that u should nt reap all, u are to leave some for the poor the strangers and the fatherless. in other words, ur tithe is different from ur gift to someone.

Listen friend, you are caught up between two programs in the matrix. One is Savior Program which takes your little resources and add to that of another. Do not give your money to any body even your religious leader. Not in the name of tithe, offering or whatever. This is controversial but I can assure you, it took me many many years to figure it out.

Even your friend that you want to give to, is just yet another temptation program, ignore both and since this is your last money. Give it to no pastor, no body except yourself.

It must be always you, first. Then God or Humans if you have excess. But this time, since it is your last savings. It belongs to you. Love yourself first before you love God and Humanity. Because in the end the God you look for is in you, and they are trying to push you to recognizing that. The ultimate aim is Self and God realization.

That is the message for you, and that is why the universe presented you with those choices. The decision should be finally yours.

No provided you will pay back immediately. You only render help to your neighbou which isn't bad but try to pay your tithe

Na wa ohhh may God give us all wisdom,
For me I can nd will only pay my tithe only if the church has some form of welfare that can cater for the less privileged one in the church (family), and also the church reaches out to people. Let the church b accountable nd responsible in some way shape or form, am baffled wen I c people pay big amount in church wen, the money could help save lives.
