Keto diets are becoming increasingly popular owing to their role in loss of excess kilogram (fat). When one is on keto diet, carbohydrate would only represent a small proportion of macro-nutrient that is being consumed daily. If you are afraid that carbohydrate reduction will affect the body's energy level, know that Ketones also meets the energy needs of the body.

What should a ketone diet contain?

A keto diet can have 75-80% of fat; protein 10-15% and lastly, carbohydrates of 5-10%.

Benefits of ketone diets

1. Improves concentration

2. Reduces blood sugar level

3. Improves health of diabetic people

4. Helps in cancer treatment.

Knowing the benefits of ketone diets will make you want to consider adopting them in your diet plan. Also remember to use the ketone calculator to calculate daily calorie intake, BMR and macro-nutrients ratios.
