2. Majority of our prominent muslim politicians marry christians. by doing so they are scoring own goal as a child born out of such marriage is 80%likely to become a christian than being muslim. I myself is an example of such marriage and i am a christian today. Check out the children of Tinubu, saraki, fashola and others, you will see that they are most likely christians.

3. Yoruba muslims are moderate muslims. why do you think northerners refer to them as fake? Its beçause they are not extremists like them.

4. Christians engage in evangelism which muslims dont.Muslims extremists prefer terror to evangelism and this has portrayed the religion in bad light. This might make some of them to renounce their religion and it will make others wary of converting to such religion

5. In Yorubaland, most muslims are muslims by name, thereby make them prone to religious switch.

There are many more reasons why islamisation is just a false alarm.

Obj that aligned with Yar'ádua, Buhari and other northern muslims, is he a muslim?

Yorubas are divided almost equally between PDP and APC just like northerners are in both parties and the ideologies of both parties is to loot the treasury, so I dont see the ideological differences you are talking about.

You must also note that as a muslim in Yorubaland, It is harder for you to become president because you will have to have a northern muslim as vice to win. Abiola had the closest shot but was denied. Look at all our leaders that have graced the presidency, they are all christians. Shonekan, Obj, Osinbajo. Akintola and Awolowo were christians too.

And that is why it is extremely important for the Yoruba nation to pack itself plus our northern territories in Kwara and Kogi and leave this country if any other region successfully secedes. Alone, no one can play the religious card against us. We would form a nation that totally exclude religious sentiments and where our people can continue to live in peace and harmony irrespective of their religious differences. Don't doubt it, the Hausa Fulani can attempt to divide Yorubas along religious lines in a country without the Igbos and they may actually succeed. Remember they tried it during the Ibadan Summit. The religious diversity of the Yoruba is our strength but also lies in it is our weakness. We have to make it impossible for external forces to divide us.
