Tammy Abraham 'chooses to play for Nigeria over England' in bid to feature at 2018 World Cup

Tammy Abraham is set to snub Englandfor Nigeria in a bid to play at next summer's World Cup , a top official has claimed.

Abraham, who played for England's Under-21s during this summer's European Championships, is eligible for selection by Nigeria, his father's home country.

The Chelsea striker, who is spending the season on loan at Swansea, has not played a senior international game with England.

With a three point lead in their group and just two games remaining, Nigeria are in poll position to qualify for the finals next summer.

Wow. This is big steal if it pans out!!!

Let's hope that our NFF should pull all the stops to get him capped during Algeria vs Nigeria match.
I have watched all of Tammy's game for Swansea this season and the boy has a huge potential. He hasn't even started playing sef ... watch out for him in the 2022 World Cup. With Tammy kitting up for the green and white, who needs Dele Ali?
