World soccer ruling body, FIFA, has imposed a 150,000 Swiss Franc fine on Nigeria following the unruly behaviour of fans at the end of the second leg Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off between the Super Eagles and Black Stars of Ghana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on March 29.

The match which ended in a 1-all draw sealed Ghana's qualification to the World Cup later this year. Alongside the fine, the Country will play one home game without spectators.

FIFA has today published the sanctions imposed by its Disciplinary Committee for incidents that took place in the preliminary competition for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ in the first quarter of this year.

In line with FIFA’s zero-tolerance stance against discrimination and violence in football, a number of member associations have been punished due to the abusive behaviour by their respective supporters.

Over 30 Countries were also fined over different infractions during the World Cup Qualifiers.

What kind of hungry man sanction is this? They should have made it 15 million dollars so the Nigerian football body will sweat and suffer with the appeal cases and others will learn how serious the matter is.

Just few days after APC convention when the heads of abuja youths was still hot and less than 72 hours after the airport attack, tension and insecurity everywhere, you open the stadium gates to everybody in abuja with zero screening or security or identity checks. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU EXPECTING?

Everybody was at high risk in that stadium thanks to our lack of thinking. God forbid. It was a perfect recipe for disaster and we are lucky it was not worse than that.

That's about ₦64,000,000.00

Not even up to APC presidential nomination form fee.
Nigeria that "dashed" Afghanistan $1b, how much is a fine of ₦64m that she won't pay angrily. Make FIFA be careful... We get money.

Jagaban has even been doing giveaway of recent. Only him can pay the money fiaaaam!!
