It's the reason the southeast will never get anything from the government through the legislative process. the system is highly skewed in favour of the North.

The northwest has twenty one senators while the south east has fifteen. It's the same reason the northeast development commission bill went through while the one for the southeast didn't see the light of the day.

We need to restructure this country.

I hope the "restructuring noisemakers" in the south can see why restructuring is not possible in Nigeria. The core North with more than 140 reps in the 360 house of representatives have more than enough votes to thriw out any bill on restructuring.

like I said u also have a role to play . Make a move as we are doing in SW here about the restructuring. Because we discovered that its not everyone understand what the restructuring means and the kind of restructuring we are talking about, some are still asking us that is it possible for Nigeria to be restructured. The power of Federal is too much and it need to be reduced to state/regional level and local Govt. If u are not living with me u can't understand my problem. How can someone from Kano really want to understand our problems in Lagos here except is part of us.
