Pay Of The President by Fhemmmy: 9:50pm On Mar 03, 2010 |
Yaradua = President of Nigeria Jonathan = Acting President of Nigeria. Would Yaradua be getting paid his full salary or just a % since, he is not on duty and has not been for the last 3 months. Will Jonathan be paid as a President or still getting his paycheck as the Vice President? If they are both getting paid same amount, cos Jonathan is now doing Yaradua's job, is not that waste of money? |

Yar Adua will still be paid the full presidential salary, he is still president (I don't know if there is sick pay though). As for Jonathan, I believe there is a special arrangement (a committee met early after he became acting presido). |

Under normal circumstances, anyone ought to have some numbers of sick days in year and afterwards, he gets % of his salary and the rest is paid by his medical insurance, if he has one. you mean we dont have that ? |

umm. This is Nigeria. Even if Yar'Adua is in bed till 2011, he will get full salary and allowance. Goodluck would get VP salary but a whole lot more allowance because he would be doing more things the prez does like entertainment and traveling. |

Good question. Are we paying the price of two presidents for only one? |
Re: Pay Of The President by Fhemmmy: 5:23pm On Mar 04, 2010 |
Tokotaya: Hahahahahaha. Would even be nice if we are paying 2 president for one, cos we still dont have one, we only have an acting president, and the main president is not available. |
Re: Pay Of The President by jumobi1(m): 5:33pm On Mar 04, 2010 |
