Fools claiming intellectuals!? Always twisting d narrative to fit their story.

God is great, for creating men such as this, who have the amazing ability to see only that which they wish to see, to d detriment of an overall view.

I'm surprised at the dude having debated him on other national topics in the past where he showed a great dose of rational thought

Funny how people lose all objectivity over tribal emotions.

Kanu remains a charlatan usurper, a terrorist, a traitor, and most of all a nuisance to a civilised society.

I repeat, it is better to have them groaning than for terrorists and enemies of the state to be gloating.

If you want anything in a democracy, you know the democratic path to follow in order to make your hitherto unlawful demands become lawful and constitutional demands.

But that was too civil and too involved a process for a terrorist dictator to follow. How would a man that relishes the worship of his fellow men kissing his feet like Saddam Hussein whose armpits were kissed in dictatorial worship, stoop so low to conform to global democratic norms of constitutional leadership and political compromise.

Funny the same terrorist and dictator who had no good words for anyone with a contrary opinion, most especially those who even possess the constitutional power, authority and representation of the people he wanted to usurp their franchise, was always quick to mention UN conventions as though he was civil enough to comprehend its finer details.

While you are writting this stupid nonsense, it pays to note the rule of law. Kanu may have said things some people may not like but the law gives him the freedom of speech. In the case where his freedom of speech is deemed to have breached the law, the law says that he should be investigated, if found wanting, charged to court.

Kanu has never asked anyone to worshipp him or kiss his feet and if prople decide to that, it is of their own free will.

Kanu asked for a referendum which is a democratic thing. He didnt say anything about carving out an area and seceding, he called for referendum. Dome might argue that referendum is not in the constitution and that Kanu should go through the national assembly however, this is one legal route and not the only legal route.

Kanu can also use civil disobedience, peaceful protest, election boycott etc which are all legal, to pressurise the national assembly to consider giving the east a referendum.

The law does not lermit the Nigerian Army to raid peaceful eclaves, shoot up the place and take over the constitutional role of the police.

That is illegal. The illegality here is the one done by the government and not Kanu.

It was only after this illegal act that the government went court to get an order to proscribe IPOB

Laughable

By what right did a citizen under trial for treason declare that election will not hold in Anambra and the whole of SE? If you want to boycott, do so without intimidating those who have chosen to exercise their franchise which their citizenship confers.

But he wanted to show that he was powerful and got his mob to start harassing citizens of the country going about their democratic right to campaign.

Everything about Kanu was mired in illegality, from his name, to the words that dropped from his mouth like shi.t dropping from goat arse, to his attempt to establish himself as an illegal authority over the lives of people who already had a democratic and constitutional leadership and representation.

A terrorist commands his zombie mob that if he goes to court in Abuja and they hear he has been arrested, they should burn down the country.

Is that the way of a civilised human being who was currently enjoying the bail granted by the same court?

Does such a depraved and rabid animal merit any human rights or civilised engagement that the court avails?

Must we all live by the rules of a non-entity hunchback?

If I was the president, a day after that video was made public, I will march the army to go pick up the social nuisance, tie him up to a tree and publicly flogged. I will move him round all the local governments of that state and repeat the same treatment. Then have him locked up in total isolation on terrorism charges to be brought before the court 1yr later.

Buhari tried to be civil and rational, he eventually learnt that you must never treat an animal like a gentleman.

He eventually gave the rabid animal the much needed clinical attention.

The animal ran away upon realising that there's no room for his barbarism in a zoo, except in a wild jungle.

Dude if you could not comprehend the obvious illegality of Kanu and his agenda alluded to by that statement, then I can conclude you are one of the zombified youths that require rehabilitation.

In the immortal words of Pontius Pilate, "quid est veritas?"
Is that truth recognized by the constitution to be lawful, or it is the delusional imagination of a crazed and bigoted pretender to authority?

I thoroughly commend the governor who saw the need to rehabilitate those who might soon become a nuisance to the peace of the society.

The OP is asking the question based on a vow Kanu made just a week before he fled. Nobody is asking you to evaluate if coming to Nigeria was a brave move or not?

Besides you all claim he was setting a trap for the government by coming to Nigeria.

He made threats and vowed to destroy the zoo army and bring back Buhari's head, but one week later Ohamadike was on the run creating new world records in sprints.

So you expect the army to go unarmed against a maniac and his mob? You expect the army to run away when the IPOB terrorists attacked with stones and sticks and petrol bombs?

And you and others like you would have come online to gloat that you chased away the zoo army from your territory? You would have boasted that your illegal IPOB defeated an army on lawful national duty.

It is better you are seen groaning than gloating.

And what has all this done to better your life or the Nigger Area? Nothing as usual

What kind of question is this? Even his followers know he's a coward he ran away from the war front even before the first bullet was shot.
Let me burst their "Kanu's bravery in coming to Nigeria bubble ".

If Kanu really wanted to set a trap for the Nigerian government by getting caught, why did he come into Nigeria with a fake passport?

many of these people are dumb. comparing abiola who in under a military regime, fought for his right, refused to go on exile and demanded his mandate restored and he even refused conditional bail to a general who led millions of his kinsmen to hate and fled in a skirt to Abidjan.

how dumb could one be?
