WHO STOLE MY LIFE?
By Johnspeak Uwangue (Motivational Speaker, Talent and Life Coach)

Please permit me to share a short story with you of a man who had a very big gold plated mansion. All his cooking utensils were made of gold, his furnitures were of the best quality, his shoes were gold plated, he also had some clothes that were decked with diamond stones, the dinning section of his 182 rooms
mansion was big enough to contain 100 cars, the
swimming pool inside the house would be big
enough to host the Olympic, and the football
field in the compound was as big as a typical
English premier league football pitch. He also
had tennis courts, basketball courts, and a
standard golf course. His servants were more
than three hundred and his kids attended the
best schools in the world with the children of the
world’s richest people.

His house was a relaxation center for top
political office holders like Presidents, PM, Kings
of great kingdoms, top chief executives, world
billionaires, military generals etc. In fact, he was
an authority because of his riches. Presidents
bowed to him in order to get financial assistance
for their countries. His companies were well known
all over the world. He also had his private army
and police. The ground where his foots stepped
on were worshiped. He was a giver and was
reputed to have given scholarships from primary
to university to more than one million people. His
cars of all kinds were uncountable and he is
known to have given out hundreds of thousands
of cars and also tens of private aircraft to
people.

I know you already have a glimpse of who I am
writing about. But on one fateful Saturday, while
at his poolside with some of the world’s top
celebrities, he left them to his room to sleep.
But, when he woke up at about 4:00am the next
morning, everyone and everything he had was
gone. His gold plated mansion, cars, companies,
servants, cash etc disappeared. In fact, he woke
up with his mother and three siblings in a one
room ‘face me - I face you’ apartment. He was
shocked. What happened? Who stole my gold
plated mansion? He asked. Later on, his mom told him that he had slept for more than five hours since he returned from his place of work as a bus conductor. He came back to himself and realized that all the mansion, cars, etc were not real and that they were all in his dreams and he had just woken up to the
reality of life.

Have you forgotten those dreams of yours?
Dreams of buying your first car at 19, traveling
abroad for your master's program at 22, building of a
university in your community, establishing several
companies all over the world at 35, becoming a
millionaire at 18, etc and now you realize that
you just clocked 30 and you still haven’t bought a
car. And now you realize that those were great
dreams but this is reality. Every of our dreams
can come to pass at the exact time that we
want them to, but the only requirement is
ACTION. Action is the line between dreams and
success. No matter how big our dreams are, they
can become reality. It is good to dream, but it
is better to wake up and pursue them the
circumstances notwithstanding. Whats that that
was stolen from you? Mine was to be the youngest billionaire. Oh! How I love to own a yacht, an helicopter in my youth, I just love
the feeling of cruising a yacht while I enjoy the
cool sea breeze. But now, the question that so many people are asking all over the world is, who stole the kind of life I want?

Those dreams of ours can come to pass if only we would act on our dreams and plans.

SUCCEED YOU MUST!
