TEXT:"AND Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles."-Acts 8:1

Scholars have defined the church as ecclesia; the called out ones; the body of Christ; etc. But, I want to talk about the church from a totally different angle.

The church is a married woman, Revelation 19:7. And as a married woman, she is expected to give birth to a child or children. In Genesis 2:23-25, Eve was an example of the church(the wife of Adam). There are two sides to the church: the Godkind of church and the Mankind of church.

The Mankind of church began with Adam and Eve, and later to Abraham and Sarah. God told Abram(later Abraham), to get out of his country, and from his kindred, and from his father's house, unto the land of Canaan. Abraham obeyed, and departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him. Abraham also took Sarai(later Sarah) his wife, and all their properties and came into the land of Canaan.

From the above definition, Sarah is the church of Abraham. This is how the idea of the "ecclesia", the called out ones emanated. The church of Abraham(Sarah) gave birth to Isaac. The church of Isaac (Rebecca) gave birth to Esau and Jacob(who later became Israel). God continued his relationship with Jacob.

Due to circumstances beyond his control, Jacob had two wives: Leah and Rachel, Genesis 29:15-30. But, Leah was the bonifade wife of Jacob, Genesis 49:28-31. However, these two wives of Jacob, with their maids, Zilpah and Bilhah, built the house of Jacob, the church of Israel.

Israel with his church later went down to Egypt. He died in Egypt, but God became their husband, Jeremiah 31:31, 32. The church of Israel became fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.

And when the time of promise drew near, God sent Moses to bring them up out of Egypt. As the church left Egypt, a mixed multitude followed them, Exodus 12:37-39. Also during the time of the apostles, the Gentiles joined the church, Ephesians 2:11-19. In the wilderness, the children of Israel were called the church, Acts 7:38. Unfortunately, through consistent acts of disobedience, the church of Israel was exiled to different countries and nations of the earth until the time of Jesus Christ.

During the time of Christ, he chose twelve apostles to revive the church of Israel. These twelve became the leaders in the church. When Jesus died and resurrected, many bodies of the saints that died for the sake of the word of God came back to life, Matthew 27:50-53. They were the cloud of witnesses in Hebrews 12:1. Some scholars call them the triumphant church. They are currently under the altar waiting for their fellow brethren, Revelation 6:9-11, who shall join them in the time of the translation, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. Some scholars again call this time the rapture.

However, during the time of the apostles, division crept into the church, Acts 6:1; 1 Corinthians 1:11-13; 3:1-5. As a result, the church was divided into seven main parts, Revelation 1:11. Unfortunately, this division has continued from that time unto this day.

Moreover, in Godkind of Church. The Church of God, which Mary the mother of Jesus is and was a part of, gave birth to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The Church of Jesus Christ, Ephesians 5:22-33; Revelation 19:7-9, will also give birth to a Son. This Son will be conceived on the twenty fourth day of the first month, which is July 9, in the year 2092, and shall be delivered in nine months' time: between March and April 2093.

This Son with his Church(his wife), will fulfill God's purpose for man: they will be fruitful, and will multiply, and will replenish the earth, and will subdue it: and will have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth, Genesis 1:26-28.

Consequently, all the people that believed in God from Adam to the time of the apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ are already part of the Church of the Son of Jesus or the grandson of God. However, this same Son of Jesus shall begin his kingdom reign in the year 2133, and he will rule with a rod of iron until the end of this Third Week.

And now, to be a part of the Church, all you have to do is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and obey his commandments, a summary of his commands are in the Bible book of Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7.
