Im currently using a V6 nissan maxima..i noticed my car does not accelerate faster wen d Ac is on., its also jerks wen d engine is hot..and once its jerks. No.more acceleration.

It uses a thermostat with double radiator, but d fan doesnt com up wen d engine is hot, until i put on the AC before d 2 fan coms up.

Please advise on how to go.about this..i dnt wana jump.frm kazeem to taju to lati.

Ur advices amd opinion are well appreciated.

Run a diagnoses on the car and be on look out for lean mixture .
Possibilities -Clogged EGR valves,clogged fuel injection, etc

Where is your temperature gauge when you say it is hot? If the needle is still in the middle your fan will stay of , from what you have said there is nothing wrong with your fan and your car is not overheating.

I think you have a multiple cylinder misfire scan and post result you might get a P03** code

Compressor switching on is already an extra load on your car and so you don't get the same performance wen it is off and couple with that there is a existing issue that is yet to be taken care ,the performance will definitely drag with ac on na

If you have cylinders not working extra load by the compressor will bog down the engine

Wana evn sell d car

It a wrong perception that we need to do away with on nairaland .Nissan is my first car and i prefer it to any toyota.
