I honestly do not blame landlords who charge high for damages.

We rented a flat and even as a tenant I was almost cursing the previous tenants inwardly, it was as it they had never scrubbed the bathro tiles once, kitchen tiles that was cream was black, the whole kitchen was black. . Behind the WC in the master toilet was super black.

The change over in the kitchen was black from soot, in fact the electrician that helped us changed some stuff in the house asked if it was firewood they were using in the kitchen.

That's how I carried hypo that it will clean the tiles I poured everywhere The thing no even shake body. I remembered that plumbers say they use one chemical to clean tiles so I hired the plumber that will changr some taps to help me clean them up and buy the chemical. He poured the acid oo, we had to buy 3 times before the everywhere looked like a place befitting for a human being. In fact the plumber told me that he was even doubting it will work.

That's how I went to meet the landlord wife downstairs and asked what happened, she laughed and said that she had even tried cleaning and that it was even worse than what I saw, that she cleaned it up to what I am seeing, that did I notice they had to repaint the whole flat, I said yes she said the whole walls were black that the flat has been there for almost a year no nobody came close that she had to tell her husband that if you don't repaint this house( very large 3 bedroom oo) nobody will rent it, that she knows the reason we even attempted to rent it was because its painted now that in that black state no body will.

The landlord had to change some stuffs in the large junction box, (I wonder how that MEM electrical box got damaged the whole thing was black) repair some doors and put some keys. We changed some lampholders sockets, did some plumbing work.Those people wrecked that house.

There are stairs leading downstairs from the kitchen. (its a six flat building and the uppermost floor is not occupied yet) would you believe these people place their gen there permanently just before you climb the last floor the walls by those steps and the decking is black from gen smoke( maybe they felt since there's vention up thete ) its not an open decking oo the flats there is roofed already.

And to think the landlord lives in the same compound , even Me I can't take all that abeg its too much. He's too gentle in my opinion.

When the acid finished work on those tiles Chai I was like yeeeh so this place can look this nice.

I honestly don't blame strict landlords at all,seems some tenants are from hell.

Now I am enjoying the house spent some small amount though but that what we might have paid for agreement fees.

What you saw in that toilet is a typical Yoruba trademark. Infact, they are dirty
