The first official trailer for "The Wedding Party 2" is here just like the proverbial John The Baptist which comes before the special one.

The premiere and the cinema debut of the highly anticipated film has been slated for December, 2017.

The teaser released on October 2, 2017 features Banky W, Sola Sobowale, Ali Baba, Enyinna Nwigwe, Beverly Naya, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Patience Ozokwor.

The sequel officially titled "The Wedding Party 2 – Destination Dubai" will premiere on December 10 and makes its debuts in Nigerian cinemas on December 15, 2017.

Based on the recently published visuals, here are 7 things we now know

1. It was shot in exotic places - hotels, resorts, nightclubs in the holiday and business destination of Dubai.

2. Nonso (played by Eyinnaya Nwigwe) is surprised he is getting married.

In the trailer Nonso Onwuka is seating with his ‘oyinbo’ love interest, Deardre Winston (Daniella Down) at dinner at the Atlantis in Dubai when a diver comes to the front of the glass tank with a sign reading “Will you marry me?”.

It's obvious Nonso is not the one who organized the marriage proposal, because you can see the surprise when she kisses him.

3. Rosie will not leave Dozie Onwuka alone

Rosie played by Beverly Naya in the first part almost ruins Dozie Onwuka’s (Banky W) wedding. In this new teaser clip, Dozie’s ex-girlfriend can be seen rubbing her body on his in a nightclub.

4. The Cokers jump into another wedding party.

Dunni Coker’s (Adesua Etomi) family love to party and it looks like they will be involved in the planning of this new one. Besides Deadre and Dunni are best friends.

5. The new additions to the cast- Patience Ozokwor, Seyi Law, Elenu, Chugurl and Hafeez Aiyetoro (Saka) are proof that the part 2 might even be funnier than part 1.

6. Lady Obianuju Onwuka is still fiery and proud like a peacock

Lady Obianuju (played by Iretiola Doyle) gives facial expressions that will remind viewers why we fell in love with her body language.

7. Mrs. Tinuade Coker is shifting the fight to some one else

Iya Dunni is a fighter, she does not take rubbish and is ready to tie her wrapper on her waist.

Her rival in part one was Lady Obianuju who had a habit of trying to belittle her. Now the new challenger is a character played by Patience Ozokwor.
